Birthday party food

Planning a party at a local farm. They will have pony rides and play in the wild west and town. I'm planning on a early morning party 10-12:30 so i was thinking of doing. Peanut butter sandwiches for kids, prezel rods, popcorn, carrott & apple slices and cake. Should I get some other food and like what? Do I need to feed the adults to it is going to be active party and dont want to have wated food sit in the hot sun in June. Also no place to heat anything so it need to be something Ican just bring and leave out.

Thanks

Re: Birthday party food

  • I think the menu sounds perfect and as an adult I'd be content snacking on that if I felt the need.

  • My only suggestion would be a different kind of sandwich unless you're certain all the kids eat peanut butter and there are no allergies.

  • Sounds good, but I'd get something as well as the pb&J sandwiches in case a kid is allergic

  • Ditto on the allergies. If any kids coming are allergic, I would not serve peanut butter- too risky.

  • Same thought on the peanut butter...it is also really messy if kids are not neat eaters... but since the food will be outside, that is harder to figure out I guess though you could just make some ham & turkey sandwiches & store them in a cooler
