Morning (ALL DAY) Sickness

Hi Ladies! Im a first time mom and due November 7th. Im a newbie here. I've been reading the community posts for about a week now. Figured I'd introduce myself and get the ball rolling so to speak. Just a warning, half of the time I have no idea what everyone is talking about with the abberviations, but I think I'm slowly starting to figure it out!

Anywho, is anyone else experiencing HORRIBLE morning sickness that lasts ALL DAY??? I've had it for about a week. I'm 6 weeks today, btw. I wake up and feel wonderful, but 20 minutes later----BAM! I feel like death warmed over. This lasts all day until bed. It's terrible to say the least. Ive tried all of the tricks, saltines (I cant swallow another craker---im gagging just thinking about it), but they didnt work when I snacked on them. Sea-Bands, B-6 w/Unisom. Eating bland carbohydrates, eating every 2 hours. It finally got so bad that I called the OBGYN and he prescribed my Zofran, but thats not touching it either.

If anyone has some other tricks or helpful advice please share!

Thanks Ladies!

  • I don't have morning sickness, but I've heard ginger and citrus help! Try drinking gingerale or eating a grapefruit!

  • I experienced a little bit of morning sickness for the first time this afternoon. I felt a bit better after I ate lunch. I also drank some gingerale and I went to the store and got some preggie pops just in case it happens to strike again, I'd like to try

  • I had horrible morning sickness with DS1 from 5-15 weeks. Nothing helped. Sorry! Good news is if you plan to have more it won't necessarily be bad for your next! I only had mild sickness from like 7-10 weeks with DS2. (Had to give you something positive)

  • I have had pretty mild but totally constant nausea for an entire week. (Luckily no vomiting yet, just feeling awful) Nothing I try seems to get rid of it, but there are several things that tend to ease the nausea for at least a little wh

  • Thanks for all the help! I will def try the plain waffles and the granola bars. BTW, a big thanks for the link to the abbreviations! At least now I can decipher what everyone is saying! Thanks again ladies!
  • Congrats! I've had nausea for a couple of weeks and last Friday it got worse(I vomited). Anyway I lost my appetite (forced myself to eat small meals), thinking of certain foods made me gag, and mine has been all day every day (when I wake up to when I go
