Did anyone start their leave early/already voluntarily?
Poor DH has to listen to me complain each day about how uncomfortable I am at work and he's suggestion is "why don't you start your leave early?" I try to reason with him that I wouldn't be more comfortable at home, in fact I'd be keeping myself crazy busy if I was at home all day.
Anyone start early? Did you get bored? How far out did you start staying home?

My maternity leave starts Monday (thank you Jesus!). I am set to induce Tuesday at 5 AM so I figured why hang around work when I could be resting and all that. I have been working because I did not want to use my paid sick leave too much before LO but
That's my concern too! I'm due on the 27th, so I know in all actuality he could come any time between now and then, but he could always wait unitl AFTER and then I just wasted two+ weeks bored at home.

Yes I started my leave early. My last day was last friday (at 38 weeks and 6 days). I was scheduled for a c-section on Tuesday, which I cancelled. So I would have only had one day "off."

I contemplated taking leave early, but thought that the distraction of work would be good. Even if I'm uncomfortable.
