why can't people just RSVP???

So annoying.  My sister told me today that she is still missing responses from about 10 people.

So rude.  "Yes or no" isn't a difficult decision.

I'm extra annoyed because I have given for the majority of their children's events.

  • You having thrown the other events aside, not RSVP'ing is just rude! It is ok to say that you aren't coming, people understand that there may be something else on your calander. Plus as the person asking for responses it feels rude to call the person a

  • I hate when people do not RSVP, but maybe some of them are waiting till the last minute. Did she put an RSVP by a certain date on the invite? That is what we try to do, and if we do not hear back by a certain day then we will email/call/text the stragg

  • I'm not sure why it's a growing trend to not RSVP. Some people (for our wedding) just assumed we knew they were coming, so they didn't. It's an annoying situation though that would be much simpler if people just called.

  • I'm missing RSVPs for DD's birthday party (I asked for them by 3/13, yesterday)

I had a decent idea of who I wouldn't hear from though, one of my cousins and his wife always show up to family events but never RSVP (except for my wedding bu

  • Set aside the tit for tat..you chose to go or throw those events. My MIL invited over 60 people to the wedding and my friend had to reach out to about 40 somehow because they never said yes or no. It's ridiculous that even with online or postage stamped r

  • I know people may harp on me for this, but I also think it's rude to not use a response card provided for wedding RSVPs.  Yes, I understand a phone call does the same thing, but people paid for those stamps - the least you could do is use them.</P

  • I'd just send them an itemized bill of how much they owe you.  If they aren't going to show up, they can always just send you their payments, am I right?

  • I know the feeling had to go through this with my wedding and my friend's wedding. Both times with people who live out of town and they came to the weddings. If you can book a hotel and flight, how can you brush off rsvping? And then get mad when a hostes
  • We just hosted a 60th birthday party for my FIL.  We invited about 20 people and only got RSVPs from maybe half by the RSVP date.  A couple RSVP'd to my FIL instead of to us (info was on the invite) and one guy RSVP with a +1.  We let it sl
