Crawling- at what month?

Hello everyone-

Just wanted to see if your little ones are crawling yet. My daughter M can sit up on her own, but shows very little interest in crawling. We try to put things out of her reach during tummy time, but she will reach a few times and then just start looking at me rather than the toy. I am not really concerned that she is falling behind, just wanted to know around what age they start becoming mobile. She is 7.5 months.

    The one thing I've learned from reading these boards is that every baby is totally different.  There is a huge wide range for when babies develop.  My LO started crawling at about 6.5 months but some babies don't crawl until they're a year old and some don't crawl at all, they just go straight to walking.  As hard as it is, you really can't compare your baby to other babies.  Everyone develops at their own rate.

    My little guy started at 6 months. I miss the days when I could just put him in one spot and he would stay there.

    My DD started crawling about 6 months and my DS at 9 months.

    My DS started crawling at 7-8 months, but 8 month old DD has barely tried.  I don't know if second kids always take longer, but I think part of the reason DD is taking longer is because any time she reaches for something, big brother hands it to her, so she has no incentive to learn.

    DS1 only really properly crawled for about a week, right around his first birthday before he started walking full time. He started doing the belly flopping thing he did to get around around 6 months.

    DS2 has been using his feet to scoot around but has been getting his knees under his body so seems close to crawling at 7.5 months.

    I want to say that my first two started crawling at 8 months and were walking by 10 and 9 months respectively.  It was way too fast once they figured it out.
