It's that time again....Ten Things Tuesday!!!!
TTC our first. Married to, and madly in love with, my beautiful wife. Living with our fur baby and enjoying 19 nieces and nephews.
- DW and I have been tracking, preparing, getting medical testing since January 2013.
- First Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm 08/02/13: BFN
- Second Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm 09/11/13, 09/13/13, 09/15/13: BFN
- Third Cycle: Unmedicated ICI w/ Donor Sperm: 10/13/13, 10/15/13, 10/17/13, 10/21/13: BFN
- January 2014: Sonohysterogram shows excellent lining & tubes have no blockages
- Fourth Cycle: Monitored clomid cycle w/ ICI's at home: 1/24/14 and 1/25/14. Ovulation verified: BFN
- Fifth Cycle: 02/2014 Femara 5mg with ovidrel trigger CD14: BFN
- Taking a few months off to evaluate if we want to keep trying

Re: TTT
1. The baby shower for DW sister is ready to go. I can't wait for it to be over.
2. A friend's Mom had a pretty bad stroke this week and is currently blind...it makes me realize how precious life is.
3 DW and I have been hiking a lot lately. We are in Michigan, so the weather hasn't been stellar, but we did have some random 50 degree days!
4. In relation to number 4, DW and I are planning a month long backpacking/hiking trip in May. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT.
5. My other sister in law found out she is having a girl. We're happy for her, but the name she picked is, um, odd..

8. Our TTC journey is the same.I am just tracking and charting. We are VERY close to our goal of paying off all our debt and then we will be able to start trying!

4. I planted our seeds today for our garden, I start them indoors. I love playing in the dirt and watching things grow.
5. My wife is super stressed right now with school, internship, and various other things, now throwing the TTC stuff on top of it. I wish I could take all her anxiety and stress away for her.
6. I start full time in the ER in a month, I am going to miss the people I work with right now, but am ready for the change.
7. My puppies, we have three, have been acting up lately. We are thinking about bringing in a trainer to help with their bad behaviors.
8. The sun is shining today... I may need to get out for a walk later.
9. I am almost done, and running out of things.
10. I am so ready for spring!

1. My work is really starting to stress me out. I cannot wait until I am finished with my degree! Less than 14 months and I am DONE.
2. Pink was in Cbus last week and I really wish we had gotten tickets to that concert.
3. We have our 37 week appointment tonight. GBS test and checking for dilation etc.
4. DP has gained 40lbs with pregnancy and I?m pretty sure I've gained at least 15. Bring on spring, time for some outdoor activity to drop the extra weight!
5. We started a new organic laundry detergent. It has no fragrances or anything like that. It?s going to take a while to get used to this.
6. Going to babies-r-us to get a few last minute items before lil man makes his arrival, I love that store. Even though I have spent so much money there I should be the CEO.
7. A has been nesting like crazy. She has cleaned things I didn't even know needed cleaning. She has organized every last item in our home.
8. FYI ? commit this to memory anyone who is ttc or have never had a child. Do not Google ?mucus plug? and look at Google images. Bad Bad idea??
9. We just purchased out house and I am having buyer?s remorse, kinda. I would never tell A, but I think we should have gone bigger!
10. A co-worker decided to tell me she is a lesbian. We never really got along, I'm not sure why she decided to tell me? It was odd.

1. I'm not feeling super ready or prepared to have this kid, but I AM super ready to be done with work.
2. Problem with #1 is that there are some major projects that I do NOT feel comfortable leaving half-done. And while I'm doing my best to plow through and finish them, no one is making it easy for me.
3. Re: 1&2, I can't decide if the stress from work is going to a) cause me to shoot this kid right out from all the pressure ... or ... b) keep me from ever being able to relax enough to go into labor.
4. I'm pretty sure #'s 1-3 are damn close to what I wrote last week for TTT (I won't go check), so I'd like to move on.
5. The rug for the nursery arrived yesterday and I love LOVE it. I'm so happy we went with something a little more whimsical. I usually tend towards the completely practical.
6. Last weekend S's Aunt and Uncle visited and brought us MORE gifts. They had already been incredibly generous at our shower, and now they bought our bedding and a bunch of books that we registered for from suggestions on this message board. Way cool.
7. So the only things left to do in the nursery are hang the blinds, get a curtain rod and hang the valences, hang some artwork that we have, organize a few things, and wait for the Glider that we ordered. Good think I'm due on Thursday already! (Glider won't get here until May, I'm sure).
8. With 2 days until our due date, we still have a list of about 30 names. I figured we would narrow things down as a fun activity during early labor, and then head into the hospital with a short list of about 3-4 names. I think once we see him, we'll be able to make a final decision. I did NOT anticipate that I would be receiving emails today with MORE names for the list though ... ugh, Honey, STOP!
9. The weather here has just sucked lately. At least it's warmer than it was, but there's been no real consistent march towards Spring. And I've fallen on the damn ice just about every single morning while walking the dog.
10. I think I've wasted enough time now, back to work!! Sooner I get those projects done, the sooner I'll be more calm about having this baby!

1. I am super grumpy, so this TTT is going to be a downer
2. I think I am pms-ing. All I know is that I am super cranky
3. I am so sick of our roommate living with us. She is still not approved for long term disability and isn't paying us anything.
4. I did not sign up to take care of a 43 yr old woman!! She needs to live in an assisted living facility, not in our apartment!
5. I did get a part time babysitting job watching a 4 month old 2-3 days a week. He is super easy and sweet.
6. We saw our RE last Thursday and did blood work and an ultra sound. So far, so good, I have a few more tests to have done in the new few weeks.
7. We have an appointment tomorrow to apply to become foster parents.
8. We are signed up for a trial of Netflix and I don't think its going to be worth the money. We have watched a few documentaries and I have been watching West Wing. I love that show!
9. I love that its going to be light out later in the evening, but this time change has really messed with me the last few days.
10. I am ready for the warm weather!!!
So excited for Mwagner... I hope we get a post about initial tests tomorrow!
1. Ah, the highs and lows of selling your house and not being prepared to buy another one.... Geez - the quest continues. We're very lucky, but definitely feeling the pinch.
2. Since last Tuesday, we've had two u/s, one at 11w1d, where we saw the baby moving and jumping around, got a video and all, and one for the NT scan. Everything is looking great.We're so happy!
3. Our Indigo Girls show was great! I am a die hard fan and have been for YEARS, but seeing them live is always so refreshing. We even pulled strings a few years ago with a friend to have Amy and Emily sign a guitar for us that is, of course, displayed in a hallway. This time was extra special because it was the baby's first time in their presence. We got super lucky and S got Emily's set list from their tech!
4. Re #3, we're collecting hatch show prints (famous concert posters made in Nashville) and other memorabilia from all the shows that we go to while I'm pregnant. We plan to integrate that somehow into the nursery....
5. I literally hate my job today and I want to quit so bad. I feel so overwhelmed, I almost feel frozen. Not a good feeling.
6. I know it sounds silly, but I'm anxious to hear how mollykelley is doing. based on the posts, I think the egg retrieval was set for this past weekend.
7. Have I mentioned that something quirky about this pregnancy is that I literally cannot have anything like clothes, jackets, or anything else touching my neck or I will throw up? It is so true and so odd.
8. Re #7, I made the wrong choice today with my sweater. I've been regretting it since I got in the car

10. S has been practically a saint through all of the stuff we've been maneuvering. I have to think of a good way to thank her. I'm overwhelmed by all the things she's taken on and doesn't want to bother me with. I'm so thankful for her.

2. I have two cycle buddies this month and I love knowing that I will have comrades in the 2ww. (Good luck at your transfer tomorrow MollyKelley!)
3. I'm baffled in trying to understand how this cycle is so effed up. I'm on CD16 and we still aren't sure if the iui will be tomorrow, thursday, friday or saturday! argh!
4. I'm hugely disappointed by my lonely 18mm follicle and it's little sibling the 13mm follicle. I'm hoping that little one does some insane growing tonight...
5. I came out about Infertility to one other person at my work today. Aside from the initial "Have you considered adoption?" question (headdesk!!!) it was actually a nice talk, and nice to have support from one other person.
6. I spent my lunch hour today buying books for my friend's kids who we'll see this weekend. I loved that.
7. I did good work today. That feels so good because I've been feeling like I've been half-assing it lately with all our TTC ups and downs.
8. I'm SO tired. Flippin' exhausted really. I want to go home and sleep like nobody's business.
9. We have an appointment for a genetics consult tomorrow... I'm not sure if I should be nervous or not.
10. I feel like I'm starting to give up hope of TTC-success. I don't want to be dramatic about it, but it also feels like a bit of self-preservation to try to come to terms with the worst now...

We lost our beautiful Twin baby girls on June 18, 2014. Tavin Sara and Casey Elizabeth were born at 21 weeks gestation and were absolutely beautiful, precious, amazing babies. We miss our daughters every day and love them with all our hearts.
1. Im new here and Just trying to get my feel for the boards.
2. Im ready for next Thursday to get her so me and my Partner can start our Baby Journey.

4. I really am craving a juicy cheeseburger but am attempting to stay on the healthy path.
5.Thinking about taking Diesel (our boxer) for a long walk when I get off since it is so pretty outside.

7. I am trying everything in my power to think about any and everything besides babies. But It is a lot harder to than I thought.
8. We have found a LGBT friendly OBGYN and I am very thankful for that.

TTT my favorite thread of the week! I love reading what is happening with everyone.
1. Some of you may have heard, but your most recent IUI did not take and we had our BFN this weekend. We are a little broken up but working on being better prepared and better educated for next time.
2. C is out of town on a work trip and I don't really like being at home without her.
3. I've been working really hard to get the house cleaned up. I feel like I woke up and all of a sudden it exploded and all our clutter went everywhere.
4. Because of #2 I am going to stay with my parents for a few days. It will be nice to stay with them for a few days.
5. The weather this weekend was amazing here and although we had a stressful weekend due to #1 the weather was certainly a welcomed distraction.
6. We have two dogs and they are currently asleep on either side of me...snoring like crazy!
7. I went to a zumba class tonight and my legs are already sore.
8. I have been doing laundry all day today...how can two people produce so many clothing items!!! I can't imagine what it will be like when we have children!
9. I need to start a new craft project...I need to figure out what that will be!
10. I am excited to see all the new TTCers and the soon-to-be babies, and those of you headed to another IUI, ICI, or IVF! Sending fertile thoughts to all!
