Major contractions last night

I had contractions for several hours that were about 7-8 minutes apart and intense.  I avoided waking my husband unless they got unbearable and closer, which didn't happen but can't help but hope true labor is close!  Doctor today also said I made some progress and doesn't expect me to go past my due date. Hope all you other March Mommas are hanging in there Smile

    I even do not know, or realize that my contractions are started or not. My due date is 29 March. Honestly I am not able to differentiate between the baby movement and contractions. Apart from baby movement sometime i felt that my tummy get air and it tighten up. Is that the contraction feel like?

    I asked this question yesterday if you look a few posts down - it felt like a tightening with sharp pain and occasionally would wrap from my back to my front.  I was not able to lie comfortably and felt the need to be up and moving.  Once they started to die down, I was able to lay back down.
