I'm fascinated by the Guava Family Lotus. It looks like it is so light and easy to pack up. It shows a bassinet too in the photos but it doesn't appear it's available yet but I'm sure it will be by the time you are due.
The basic graco ones are good. The usually have a bassinet feature and fold compactly. The ones where the feet fold inwards are nice because the frame is not taller than the folded mattress. I think they are around 65 bucks but you can usually find it on sale.
My recs would be the Graco Tot Block, Delta Fun Time, or Joovy 2 playards since they are square & will last you well into toddlerhood.
My mom has the GracoTot Block & I have the Delta Fun Time playard-both of which I love. They have fun colors for LO and are much easier to set up than the little Carter's one I started out with (the one with the bassinet & changer) and they can withstand a little wild man, unlike the other PnP. The Graco has cool toys on the side DS loves. The Delta one is easier to PnP than any of the other playards I've used and has padding on the rails & seems to be more sturdy than the Graco.
The Joovy, I just saw recently in BBB...it might be worth checking out, although it seems more expensive than the others.

We had a graco, but to be honest we used it as a newborn napper for the first 3 months and then put him in the crib. The was the end of the graco as we really had no use for it. Pretty big investment for only 3 months of use. I'd go used the next time Also, I do remember when shopping for playards there was a big quality difference between brands. If you can check out a local big box store like babies r us or buy buy baby, take a look for yourself and just try shaking each one. Some are very sturdy and others not so much..
Wife to a wonderful husband, Mommy to a precious cutie, and Designer of Wall Decals!
This BZBee is truly blessed!
We have a Graco at home and Chicco at my in-laws. The Graco is in the link below. But I highly recommend using the MamaDoo Kids mattress topper with any, for much needed extra comfort and support. It has the perfect firmness and folds in 3 (second link, its reviews in amazon are amazing). We travel quite a bit and take the Graco and the MamaDoo every where! Good luck!
