He was just bleeding so much. He hasn't really been able to walk hardly at all lately. He had his spleen out over a year ago, another GI surgery and then recently had another bad instance of bloody diarhea when LO was first born. He has just been doing worse and worse and this final situation was just too much. He was 12 which is ancient for a Great Dane. The Emergency Clinic we took him to even came out and put him down in the backseat of DH's old truck...which was always his favorite place on earth...so he got to pass on in his favorite spot with DH holding his head and petting him.
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

Unexplained Infertility

Our dogs become family and it is so hard to see them go. ((Big Hugs)).
