For mobile: What does it feel like when baby drops?

Also posted on my month board.

Baby girl feels so low this evening. Feels like her head is right at or against my pelvic bone. Like as low as where the hair of lady bits start lol. I just don't think I've felt here quite this low before. I don't remember noticing when DS dropped.

    I had intense pain in my pubic area the morning after LO dropped. I believe he made his way down over a span of one weekend. I felt crazy movement for 1/2 an hour at a time each night as I tried going to sleep. On the Monday morning I woke up and could barely walk due to the pain I felt in my pubic area. I could feel that he was sitting much lower as there was a space between my breasts and where his bum seemed to be sitting. I also found that when I leaned up against the bathroom counter to brush my teeth or the kitchen counter to wash dishes, my upper abdomen was no longer tender as once before.

    See I guess that's why I'm not sure.. with DS he was high up and kicking my ribs. This little one however has barely touched my ribs, she's just always been low.

    I didn't feel the "lightening" like most people talk about. LO was never really pushing on my lungs. I felt the pain in my pelvis. Plus now when she gets hiccups I can feel them very low in my pelvis. I told DH the other night that it actually felt like she was screwing her head into my pelvic bone!

    I started feeling his head on the insides of my hips. Started feeling that for the first time about 5 days ago. No "lightening"

    That's exactly my experience.  I had such intense pain around my ribs with DD, and this little guy has been sitting on my bladder since the end of 1st trimester.  It's even worse now and he feels lower.  DD never dropped until I was in active labor.  I go for an u/s tomorrow so hopefully I'll know what type of position this little guy is in.
