September 2012 Moms

Another Amazon Prime question...

So I just signed up (yay!), and so far, I've set up subscriptions for diapers and wipes. What other household items do you have on your subscription?

Re: Another Amazon Prime question...

  • Dish washing soap, bubble bath for the boys, use to have diaper rash cream and baby powder

I think MIL does toilet paper and paper towels

  • Loading the player...
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, tampons, toothpaste.... I could keep going. Literally everything I would buy at BJs.

    Lilypie - (P7p7)
  • The soap I use since I can't buy it in stores. K-Cups FTW!

    Kid #1 - 09/03/12
    Kid #2 - maybe???
    Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
  • Aren't diapers cheaper at BRU with the coupons?

I really should do this. Like really. I hate BJs and DH always wants to go but I give him a hard time cause he wants to go alone and I'm like - Yo, what about helping me with the kids? Dumb, I know. So I pay too much for that stuff at Shop Rite.

    All of this!
Also, my fenugreek and other odds and ends. I try to have at minimum 5 items a month for the 15 off.

No...SO much cheaper with Prime, plus they're delivered right to your door. The only time I saw diapers at BRU at a comparable price was during their Black Friday sale.

Ok, I think I may sign up today and do some research. DH is a student so I think we get a discounted rate on the membership too.
  • Can someone explain this to me? I thought it was just free shipping? You can save on diapers....do tell. Thanks!

Ok, Cruisers size 4 on BRU 46.99 for 148, let's assume you have at least and $8 off coupon, that's 26.344 cents per diaper

Amazon 44.64 for 160, that's 27.9 cents per diaper. I guess it's close enough in price to justify getting them shipped to your house but certainly not cheaper.

And also, many times you can get a $10 off coupon at BRU.

Can someone tell me if I'm missing something here?

BTW, not sure if I told you but I love your DD's pictures in your siggy!!

With Amazon Prime and if you make the diapers a Subscribe and Save item, you get an additional 20% discount. So I just ordered my DD's Size 4 Cruisers 160 box for $37.59 with free delivery.

  • K cups, Mother's milk tea, makeup (you can cancel the subscription after one delivery), I've gotten some groceries.

Ok, this is what I was wondering. With the prime memberhip how many subscribe and save items are you allowed to sign up for to get that 20% off?

  • I only do diapers and wipes through subscribe and save but I do 1 kind of wipes and 3 kinds of diapers and I get 20% off of each one.

I am pretty sure you can sign up for as many as you want. In the past you also needed to sign up for Amazon Mom to get the 20 percent. I am unsure if you still need too. The 20 percent is only off baby things. For household items and other things its 5 percent off unless you have 5 or more in one month than its 15 percent off. The diapers and wipes count towards this but you do not get an extra 15 percent off the already 20 percent off.
