I was putting snaps on a couple of pieces of PUL for pocket diapers last night and apparently wasn't paying attention. I managed to press just the prong piece on itself and the fabric, instead of getting the socket half on. Fortunately it only happened w/ one waist snap.
My conundrum....all of the other snaps are perfect and I only had a diaper cut of this particular print. I'm horrible at trying to remove pressed snaps - I tend to rip or cut the fabric badly. So, do I A) leave it as is and make it my own personal "factory second" or
ask dh to try to carefully remove it and then try not to cry when/if I have a big hole in the PUL?
Re: Screwed up my snaps - WWYD?

ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!!
I have a snap press, so I'm pretty sure I'd squash my fingers trying to do anything fancy with that!
I might have to try the melting tip though - I'm guessing a wood burning tool would work about the same way, right? Until I melt my PUL....Yeah, I'm pretty handy.
Thanks for the ideas!
