Promise Walk for Preeclampsia Orlando

Hi everyone...I wanted to let you all know about the first annual Promise Walk for Preeclampsia that is going to take place in Orlando at Lake Eola Park on June 22, 2013.  These boards helped me back in 2008 when I was affected with Preeclampsia at 24 weeks and had to deliver my son prematurely at 31 weeks.  In an effort to give back and raise awareness about this life-threatening disorder of pregnancy and postpartum period that affects both the
mother and the unborn baby, I have taken on the task to coordinate the very first Central Florida Promise Walk for Preeclampsia.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone there in June.  If you would like to register to come out and walk or to find out more please visit our website at www.promisewalk.org/orlando.

    Wow- I will try to come. I also had toxemia with my son and delivered early in 2002!

    I just lost my daughter and they think that PreEclampsia was the reason.. My whole family.. some friends and maybe some co-workers will be registering for this event!

    Met DH 10.10.10-- Surgery 05.20.11 removal of left ovary/fall tube due to tumor-- Married DH 04.14.12-- First bfp 09.05.12 -- EDD 05.08.13-- Preeclampsia took my angel at 31 weeks 03.07.13-- Currently trying for our rainbow!

    I would love to be there, I was excited when I saw this but then realized that's the day of my baby shower out of town so sadly I will be unable to make it. I think it is amazing that you are doing it and hope there is a great turnout.
