I am pregnant and scared

in 1st Trimester
I am pregnant with my 5th child, I am scared to tell my husband and family and his family. Just because, I know I am gonna get negative and rude comments Crying. I have all boys my 1st child ids 5yrs old, my 2nd child is 4yrs old and my 3rd 2 yrs old and my 4th child is 6 months. I know the face my husband will put Indifferent he is not ready for another baby. I am excited at the time but sad at the same time. I am scared he would leave me don't know what to do.

    Seriously. He can't be pissed at you for getting pregnant unless you lied about taking birth control.  You're both adults and you've been down this road four other times - you know how not to get pregnant and you didn't do it alone.

    Well he was there when it happened so it's his "fault" too.

    This. Totally. His fault too if he wants to point fingers. I think he might need to volunteer for a little snip snip if he's not going to be on your side with your fifth little miracle! Congrats and best wishes!

    Your DH did participate in getting you pregnant so I don't know why he would leave you over you being pregnant.

    Seriously. We had a whoops but my husband knew the risks. lol

    Start with your husband. If you weren't taking precautions to prevent, he can't be all that surprised by it. If you were taking precautions, you may want to think about some permanent precautions in the future if you are this nervous about how he will react.

     

    Yup. Exactly.  He was part of it, so he cannot be angry... time to think of other ways to prevent.

    Considering it takes two... how can he be mad at you?  If protection wasn't used, it's not just your fault, its shared fault.

    3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet.

    Maggie Grace is here!  10/5/13... 8lbs 6 ounces of pure joy!

    TTC#2  No birth control since DD was born.  Getting ready to jump back in the saddle.  Weaning this month. RE
    appt scheduled 5/8.   Here we go again!

    IFV# 6.  10/27  6 retrieved 4 mature 3 fertilized.  2 made it to 3dt 10/30. 1"very pretty 8 cell" and 1 6 cell.  Beta
    11/13.   Please stick embies!!!!  We love you so much already! 11/12/14  POAS, BFP... beta tomorrow!
    11/13 beta #1  924!!!  2nd bet 11/15 1906, one more on 11/17 3rd & final beta 3430.  First u/s 12/5, 7w4d, 2 heartbeats,
    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    I understand your pain, to a small degree. This is our second unplanned pregnancy too.  Ya know, birth control doesn't work all that great for everyone.  My husband and I are super excited for this pregnancy, and we love that our kids are close in age.  BUT - I think we will be taking permanent measures after this one if we decide we are done.  I hope you can get past the "unplanned" part and remember how much of a miracle children are... and a blessing.  I hope your husband can too.  Children are never a "mistake."  They are a blessing from heaven.  You may not have planned this, but God did.  And He makes no mistakes.  Said a prayer for you today!  I am sure it isn't easy!
