Super crabby - and ready to be done! I know I have a long way to go.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week?
I have an U/S tomorrow - I am convinced that these next two U/S are only scheduled to try to talk me out of VBAC. I full expect to be told that my baby is already 6 pounds or something.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family?
My husband ultimately says it's my decision. One of my doctors is actively trying to scare him into putting his foot down, I guess? My mom is NOT supportive at all. She doesn't know anything about it, just thinks that once you have a CS you always have to have a CS and to try anything else is basically asking for trouble.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to?
I barely remember the newborn stage, lol. My daughter is 7! I think what I dread most is the middle of the night wake ups/feedings/changings/reswaddlings. I am like a zombie if I don't get my sleep.
I can't say what I'm looking forward to - I'm 33 weeks but it just doesn't feel real to me yet. Like I'm not 100% convinced that at the end of this I will have an actual baby.

1. How are you feeling? Still super nauseous and tired. I need the first trimester to be over. This pregnancy is just so different from my DD. I'm convinced it is a boy.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? I have an appointment with my midwife on Friday. It is my first real appointment. I will also be getting an NT scan done the same day so I'm super excited.
I also have an appointment with an Endocrinologist on Friday. After I had DD I developed thyroid nodules. After the ultrasound it was pretty much expected that I had cancer and would need to have it removed, but the biopsies came back negative. That was a big relief, but the thyroid is slowly getting bigger. So I am seeing an endocrinologist of Friday. I'm hoping she will have something reassuring to say.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? My DH is being very supportive. He honestly was a crappy birth partner last time and I think he gets it and is trying to better prepare himself this time. I have medical training so no one in my family really questions me on my decisions. It's nice.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? DD is 13 mo old, so the newborn phase is still very fresh in my memory. I am definitely no looking forward to the lack of sleep. DD was such a good sleeper and really an easy baby. After how much harder this pregnancy has been than hers was, I'm a little scared that this baby is just going to be harder in general. DD is so busy now, she never really has time to be held and snuggle anymore. I'm looking forward to getting that snuggle time back and I can't wait to just sit and hold my sweet little baby.

1. How are you feeling? Pretty decent! Still hungry all the time.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? I have an appointment tomorrow- just a check-up.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? My husband seemed worried at first, but is very supportive now that we've decided to try the VBAC at our hospital. He feels safer being there in case of an emergency! The rest of my family is very supportive- they know it's not their decision and I'm going to do what I want anyways.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? I'm looking forward to breastfeeding again. I absolutely adored breastfeeding my daughter- such a high level of bonding and snuggles!

We have our first ultrasound & Dr visit 3/13.
Dh is trying, he made dinner last night. DD has no clue what is going on yet. She will be 2 in Sept and the baby will be here in Oct.

1. Feel okay, but want very little to do with food.
2. One week until my first US!!
3. DH is totally supportive -- the rest of my family doesn't know we're pregnant.
4. Can't wait to see DD be a big sister, and looking forward to seeing DH with a newborn again. Not looking forward to sleep issues -- DD still doesn't sleep through the night, and I am afraid I'll end up never sleeping!

BFP#2 2/19/13 EDD 11/1/13!
I'm feeling much better. I finally seemed to have kicked my 2+ week cold so I feel human again. A little sore from time to time, but I guess that's not too surprising since I'm 38 weeks now.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week?
I just have my weekly OB belly check later this week.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family?
He's supportive, although I think he still questions why I want to go through labor...and definitely why I want to try and go natural. However, he's cool with our OB and that I wanted to go with a doula. The rest of our family doesn't seem to have an opinion one way or the other.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to?
I'm looking forward to breastfeeding and newborn snuggles with a singleton born closer to term than my girls. I'm not looking forward to not getting much sleep.

1. How are you feeling?
Pretty good. Though Im hating the GD diet but to have a healthy LO and the delivery I want Im sticking with it.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week?
Had an appt yesterday. Measuring perfect. LOs heart beat is at 140 to 145.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family?
DH is very supportive. He knows this is what I want and wants it too as my CS scared him to death!
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to?
Most looking forward to breastfeeding. I loved it with DS. Least: the diapers and night wakings.
1. How are you feeling? Tired and crabby. I've been fighting a cold all week with lots of congestion at night. My car got broken into last night.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? I had a perinatologist appt on Thursday 2/28. Little girl looks good and was definately head down! She was quite stubborn about it since we needed views of the top of her head. If she stays down my VBAC is a go!
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? DH is great. He hasn't said too much as to my want for a VBAC vs RCS. He's seen both recoveries though. We both trust my OB and the others in the practice when they say I'm a good candidate. The rest of the family is a bit oblivious and, really, don't have a say in the matter.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Baby snuggles.
Least looking forward to? Adjusting to 3 little girls in the house especially since DD1 will be out of school. She is my social butterfly and acts out without that kind of interaction.

1. How are you feeling? I have had a few good days sprinkled in with the bad. I forgot how much I hate the first trimester. HG seems to be under control with around the clock zofran, but the constipation is nearly unbearable.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? Nothing going on appointment wise - NT scan is next week.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? DH is amazing. He supports whatever decision I make and thinks VBAC would be awesome. He will be an awesome support system. My mom is great too - she keeps telling me I can go med-free and very supportive there. I have OK support from everyone else, but really the two huge people in my life are really giving me encouragement.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? I am looking forward to those sweet newborn cuddles - DD hates cuddling and I miss that. I am also looking forward to that newborn smell! I am not looking forward to breastfeeding, I had so much trouble with DD that it has freaked me out. I am definitely going to BF, it's just not something I look foward to.
I haven't really intriduced myself, but I am a regular lurker.
1. How are you feeling? Good, thankfully second tri is coinciding with my busy season.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? Anatomy scan on Friday! Can't wait to see my LO. DH still has to decide whether we are team green or not.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? DH is supportive enough I guess. He really has no clue what I went through with the c-/s. I didn't compain and just sucked it up so he thinks my recovery was nbd. He is a horrible birth partner though so I am definitely looking into other options for the birth. He is very impatient and doesn't understand that things happen in their own time. I haven't really spoken about my plans with anyone else, I think they all just assume c/s again.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? Cuddles, first smile, just getting to know them. Ugh, the sleep deprivation!!! My DD was a horrible sleeper, but I know there is worse... so I am scared to death! haha
Married - July 2010, DD - April 2011, #2 EDD August 10, 2013
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? Had my A/S on Monday. Baby is nice and healthy and they did confirm we are having another boy! Lil man is 14oz.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? My DH is as supportive as he can be due to working out of the country until before the baby will be born. My sister is amazing and me and DS are always at her house with her family.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? I am looking forward to seeing DS with his new baby brother. He is so excited. I can't wait for the smell of a new baby. It will be harder this time having sleepless nights since I will have to also keep up with my DS that will turn 3 after the baby comes.
ETA thought is was DH/family support all around. My family is totally all for a vbac. Less days in the hospital since try know my anxiety with having to be away from my son. My DH does like the idea of a repeat section so we can make sure he is there unless the baby has other plans. He does know as long as I am able to have a vbac, it will be the best decision for me.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? next appointment is Friday
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? I haven't really talked about it with anyone. DH knows I would prefer a VBAC, but he's been gone awhile, so we haven't really discussed it.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? Um....not really looking forward to the newborn stage. I only have stressful memories from DS's early days, so I'm a bit panicky about it. I'm hoping that I'll be able to enjoy the newborn stage this time.
1. How are you feeling? Still nauseous. Rounding the end of first tri, so fingers crossed!
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? Nope, nothing for another 3 weeks.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? DH is supportive. No one else knows about the VBAC, as they just found out about the pregnancy yesterday. I have a feeling my mom will be resistant. She had 3 csections. She was resistant to my bf'ing DS. As much as I explained to her, she just didn't understand it.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? I'm looking forward to most things, newborn. My son is a year old today!, so it's all fresh. I can't wait to find out the sex we're team green, can't wait to get to know baby and snuggle, can't wait to see DH holding a tiny baby again, can't wait to see what DS dies, etc. I do dread the end of my maternity leave, figuring out what to do with two little ones while I'm at work and getting them both ready each day.
1. How are you feeling? a little down but not b/c of pregnancy
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? 32 week appt today
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? My family is supportive. My mom really wants to watch a birth and I am her only child.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? most looking forward to tiny outfits and snuggling and we will be using cloth diapers this time. NOt looking forward to sleep deprivation.
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? Just had an appointment and ultrasound yesterday. No progress with dilation since last week. Baby estimated at 8lbs at 37 weeks. Doctor and I will discuss what the next step is at my appointment next week. Hoping I go before then. I don't want to even start to discuss induction, etc.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? DH is supportive in the sense of "what you think is best". He knows I've done the reading and I've talked to him about it. He supports me in whatever decision the doctor and I reach. The rest of my family isn't as involved in the decision and I haven't sought their opinion, nor have I asked for it. I'm sure MY family would be 100% supportive. MIL might have an opinion, but I could care less.
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? I'm looking forward to seeing my girls interact with their brother. My first two were only a year apart, so I never got to introduce a newborn to the older sister. My one year old didn't get it. This time around, the girls should be more aware. I'm also looking forward to breastfeeding gain. I only BF for a year and didn't think I'd be emotionally attached to the idea, but as the times grows nearer, I find myself getting excited about it. Least looking forward to is trying to get the day to day things done with a newborn and trying to fit in appointments and trying to adjust my daily schedule.
How are you feeling? Nauseous and exhausted but its what I expected
Any appointments or updates for this week? First appointment is the 29th, still so far away
How supportive is your DH/SO? Super supportive, he has researched with me and is prepared to stand up for me
What about the rest of your family? They are very excited about another lo.
What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Watching did become a big sister, I'm an only child and I always wanted siblings
2. Any appointments or updates for this week? Appointment Tuesday , no real updated, except I got the RCS date I wanted of May 24. I am due May 13, so hopefully that gives her enough time to come on her own. That is as far as I could get it.
3. How supportive is your DH/SO? What about the rest of your family? Really supportive, and everyone else doesnt matter lol
4. What are you most looking forward to about being in the newborn stage again? Least looking forward to? I just want to see her face. I am excited to meet her.
