Today I pop my crockpot cherry after 3 years of owning a crockpot.
Balsamic chicken
I'm excited for you! Word of caution, I cook chicken in the crock pot often; it does NOT need a ton of cooking time or it will dry out. I usually do less than most recipes recommend and it's fine, any longer and it would have been yuck.
July 20th, 2012: Never forget the day the fb douchebags tried so hard, but ultimately failed. Viva la October 2011! Yeah, I called you douchebags.

M: penne alla vodka with sauted garlic shrimp
T: pork chops with broccoli sauted in garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes
W: Thai beef curry in the crock pot with sweet chili noodles. I usually do lamb with this recipe but lamb prices are way too high.
T: dh has bowling league. Yes I'm married to a 70 yr old man.
F: usually take out.
S: grilled steaks, I'll marinate them in a mojo marinade, Mexican rice, and probably sauted green beans.
S: I'm craving chili, so probably that. Unless dh wants to smoke a pork shoulder, then we'd do pulled pork and slaw.

Stir fry is a good idea. We're on the Paleo diet, so I can not do the rice, as delicious as it may sound...
