We use a small stainless steel trash can with a step lid. I think the brand is Simplehuman fom Target. We just use regular bags or shopping bags. Contains the smell really well and we can just use it as a trash can later.

Simple human can .... 32 gallon maybe? It is narrow in width, step on piece to lift the lid, black. Regular kitchen trash bag from Costco fits; so far holds 1 weeks worth of diapers and seems smell proof but LO is mostly BF and so far there isn't much to be smelled.
Ubbi, no special bags to buy and holds the smell in great. And don't trust reviews from people whose kids haven't started solids . We used a regular trash can with swinging lid and it was fine for 6 months. Then solids started. Totally different world with the smell

My friends with kids recommended this one too, so it is on my list. I am a FTM so I can't say, but they said it was way better than the Dekor.

Us too!
We also have a little changing caddy in the living too and use the arm and hammer bags to hold a few dirties before we toss them. Works great!
