Donor breast milk request
Hello. My husband and I live in Mequon and we are looking for donor breast milk for our recently adopted newborn baby boy. I thought I would try the WI group since I have already tried Human Milk For Human Babies and Eats On Feets. Our son is now 21 days old and spent the first 9 days of his life in the NICU due to respiratory issues and a bacterial infection. We would love to help build our son's immune system with antibodies that only breast milk can offer. We had him on donor breast milk for 11 days and he did very well on it. We recently switched him to formula when our supply ran out, but his little system is not handling the formula well at all. We are located in Mequon and will travel anywhere in the greater Milwaukee area within 90 minutes from our home. We will of course pay for any milk storage bags and milk related costs.
I am aware of the possible risks of donor breast milk and also aware of the various types of formulas that are available to try. I am looking for a mommy who is willing to help our little peanut.
