Can't stay away...

Quick update from my "Guess that's it" post the other week, we did A LOT of talking and are going to work on us (to make a long story short). I'm still putting the breaks on the baby-making (even though he wants to have a baby now more than ever) but we definitely need to recover from this first as bringing another life into the mix at this time would not be a great idea. That being said, I hope I can stick around here- I've missed the board!

    I missed the original post, but DH and I are having a rocky time at the moment as well. It's hard and I'm sorry for what you're going through....

    Ya think? I truly wish you the best of luck, but I have to be honest. It seems like a strange choice to be hanging out here while healing from your recent troubles.

    What your husband did to you was horrible. Absolutely horrible.  I'm not sure how you can move on from there and ever trust this man. You should both seek therapy.  Good luck. 

     Agreed. I am already and he will be joining me when I'm ready for him to.

    Yeah, she said later in the thread that it started before they were even married, and that the person who married them knew about it. F*ed up.

    I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I hope that you are able to let yourself heal from this and have a stronger relationship with your DH when all is said and done. I give you a lot of credit, I think my DH would have been castrated if he did that to me.

    Lol I thought the same thing last night when the poster from last night said she was ttc with her husband who had cheated on her and had a baby with someone else. My husband would no longer be able to ttc because he would have no equipment to do so.

    I don't think I could ever forgive SO if he did anything like this to me. One time thing is one thing [which I still would not be able to forgive him for and sure as hell wouldn't be giving him a baby]... But two years is a long time to be cheating on someone.

    OP I'm sorry this happened to you.. But I'm sure you deserve better than that, and I for one wouldn't want this man to be father of my children.

    OP, I am not trying to judge you but, I don't understand why you would want to stay with him. He cheated on you while you planned your wedding and even after he took vows to be faithful to you. In order to do that and keep it up for 2 years he has got to be in love with the other woman.

    I truly wish you the best but I want to nut punch a husband who "more than ever" wants a baby now. IMO he wants a baby to tie you to him forever instead of properly working on the relationship.

    November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
    January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis. 
    3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs

    June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN

    July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

    BFP 8/16/2013 // EDD 4/28/2014

    Jordan Samuel born April 19, 2014. 6 lb, 12 oz and 18 inches long.

    I have to give it to you, you must be a much stronger...or maybe dumber, person than me. I believe in second chances. If it was a one time thing or maybe even two times, I think I could somehow forgive MH, but for your ENTIRE marriage he has been cheating. I just don't know that I could ever get past that. But nevertheless, good luck to you. If you are serious about working on it, I hope you can somehow trust him again. And I agree with PP, I hope you seek counseling.

    OP, I feel for you. I really do. I think you should continue to take TTC of the table for right now. Of course he's going to say he wants one more than ever right now, he knows he fucked up and is going to say/do anything he can to keep you from walking out. Just take care of yourself, and don't make any quick decisions. YOU come first.

    This.  100%.  Work it out with DH, try to and decide you can't get over it, whatever.  But truly think about what is best for your mental and physical health going forward from this point on.

    I really don't think we need to resort to belittling the OP because we don't all understand her choices.

    No one knows the ins and outs of somebody else's relationship.

    Some couples walk away after infidelity some make it work and move forward together.

    OP I am sorry for what you are going through. I wish you all the best no matter what your future holds.
