3 week old sleeping too much?

My 3 week old seems to sleep all day! He was up from 5 until 730 or so this morning but has been asleep since. This might be his only alert period of the day. He will wake to eat but that's about it. Every time he eats he falls back to sleep. Does this seem normal to you guys?

Yeah I don't want to complain but just seems like a lot of sleep!!!

totally normal. DS used to only get up to feed, get his butt changed, and fall back asleep. this changed for us around 4-5 weeks where he started to be more alert. he still sleeps alot though
