2nd Trimester

ANYONE ELSE?!?!

I am between 14.5 and 15 weeks pregnant.  I have 5 great days where i cooked and cleaned and did laundry.  Then out of no where Tuesday night came and I was throwing up and feeling sick.  I have since.  Not as bad a s before but to the point where I am dizzy and light headed.  I have little strength and I feel queezy other than canned chicken with mayo and pizza rolls from pizza hut.

Anyone else still sick?

What did you do for it? I cannot stomach ginger and I threw up enough crackers that just putting one to where I can smell it does me in....

Re: ANYONE ELSE?!?!

  • I have had the same thing happen to me and I am 15 weeks. The first few weeks I was sick the whole time. I am fine during the week then on some weekends I am sick Saturday and Sunday. My mom said it may be me getting off my usual schedule but IDK the only thing that has helped me is to sleep it off. I know that's not much help but everything i put in my mouth including water will come back out. But its only some days. I hope things get better for you because I feel your pain.

  • I am about 14.5 weeks as well. I, too, have good days and then all of the sudden a really bad day will strike me (like yesterday). I am so nauseous and stuck in bed for most of the day. Any food does not seem appetizing.

I am not really sure what helps ms. This is my first pregnancy and I have been dealing with it since week 6 or 7.

I usually eat saltines and peanut butter or a bowl of cereal with raspberries, blueberries, and bananas (so I get some nutrition). Those food seem to help my stomach.

  • I'm 14 weeks + 1 day and my nausea is sporadic too. I normally have it all day long, but lately I'll have days where I only feel it in the morning and a little at night. Today I'm back to all day nausea although not as strong as it used to be. I still throw up if I wait too long to eat and certain smells still make me nauseous too. I feel your pain! I can't wait for it to be completely over with!!!!

  • I am still pretty sick too!  I have just tried to let the husband do the cooking in the house.  Though I have ban fresh garlic from my house, because I find that it makes me feel much worse, which is crazy because normally I love garlic.  I am high risk, so my doctor tells me that being sick is a good thing because it means your body is producing all those extra hormones that are needed durring pregnancy, but he told me that B-6 & Unisome together have been known to help prevent morning sickness, and for the most part it has worked for me.

Good luck with everything!  I hope you will start feeling better soon!

  • There are ginger capsules u can take if u dont wanna be eatin it all the time. U can get pretty big cheap bottles of them at like walmart or fred meyer. Mine has 100 capsules in it and it was only 5 or 6 bux. Just dont... Puke for a while after taking them lol especially if u cant stand ginger.
Another thing that helps me is drinking stuff with protein and vitamins thats filling. I use either the Silk brand protein and fruit drinks or breakfast essentials with vanilla rice milk. I dont drink real milk so idk how thatll affect anything but I think its the nutrients that get me feeling better. This is also good stuff to have if u start having trouble eating in general.

  • Lurking from 3rd Tri.  My MS didn't go completely away until 18 weeks.  You just might have a little longer to go before that nausea goes away.
