I am having my third child, a boy. We are thinking of naming him Victor. But my brothers son name is Hector. Do you think it is to similar? We want to keep the name a secret until we have him. But maybe I should talk to my brother? What do you think?
Re: To similar name for cousins?
I would lean towards using Victor even though it's similar. But I would think about these things:
How old is your nephew, Hector? If the two cousins will be close in age, you may want to avoid it. It might just be confusing because they sound so similar. Also, if the other family lives far away and you only see them occasionally, it's probably not a big deal.
