Bloody show vs internal exam

I'm a FTM and have a tough time since about 31 weeks with preterm labor and bed rest 37 weeks as of yesterday so I go up the doctor weekly and do the nst tests and get my cervix checked...Monday I was sent to the hospital because we I was contracting every 13 minutes and my cervix was changing but after about 6 hours of being there my cervix had not changed so we went home. Yesterday I was checked again to see if I had dilated more and I had not but for the first time the doctor pointed out a little red spotting after the internal exam which I know is normal...when I went home I didn't notice anymore spotting. Just now I peed and wiped 3 times sorry tmi and had a good amount of brown blood...do you think this is just old blood from the exam or could it be the bloody show? Sorry for the long post...
