I had my blood drawn for my first beta this morning, now I just wait for that phone call. I am so nervous my stomach is doing flips.
QOTD: we 'vie been on a few great vacations, I think it's a tie between our honeymoon in Anguilla and our vacation to the Big Island in Hawaii a few years ago. I feel in love with HI so much that I'd love to one day get a house there.
First beta yesterday was 171. Progesterone was very low and started spotting so changed suppositories and pills to pio. Seems to have gotten better through the night. Next beta and bloodwork on Wednesday.
Best vacation: my hubby and I went to Tahiti a couple of years ago. Would love to go back! Stayed in one of those over water bungalows with glass in the floor so you could see the ocean. Absolutely the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken!

(especially because I am just about out of Gonal and do not want to have to pay for more!! lol) I had one measuring at 17mm yesterday which was exciting but only one anywhere near that size
Best vacation- was my honeymoon we also did the Tahiti thing but stayed mostly in Bora Bora and Moorea- it was so gorgeous I LOVED the overwater hut! Italy was a close second - especially loved Capri and Cinque Terre!

Hello ladies! Daysie, good luck with your beta today!
Had our FET this morning! I am actually still waiting to get up after my first hour of bed rest after transfer. Doing everything I can to pass the time so I can go empty my bladder, lol!
We transferred two embies, one very good and one good one so FX we can get them to stick around this time. I did speak to my RE about the ones we lost to the thaw, and it looks like it just comes down to egg or embie quality even though they said they were great when they froze them. It's just so frustrating to know that we would be over the moon happy to get pregnant this cycle, but bc of finances we won't be able to afford another fresh round. We were hoping for some frosties in the bank for the future
QOTD: our best vacation was probably our honeymoon to West Virginia. Quiet, secluded, and not cell service!

Still trudging along in the dreaded 2ww. I am now 8dpiui and have been feeling somewhat crampy since day one, but cramps seem to have intensified yesterday. Trying not to read too much into it of course since I am on Endometrin but can't help but remember feeling this way in my 2ww of my failed IVF. Ugh, it is so hard to stay hopeful!!!
Q: DH and I took a much-needed vacay to CA last summer before we started IVF. We were there 8 days..rented a convertible, drove up the coast, toured wineries in Napa. It was amazing. I could really use another trip back there right about now

Hey all! I am 8dp5dt of one 3AA expanded blastocyst with a lining of 5.4mm. Well, tomorrow is the big day- Beta #1. I am just excited but nervous to get a number (good or bad). It's hard not to have your hopes up when the FRERs have remained positive since 5dp5dt (Saturday). I am a POAS addict. They seem to be darker in the evening than with the FMU which seems weird but overall, the line is definitely still there. My bubble was a little burst yesterday after I got the reasons why you should not POAS by the RE nurse. Good luck to everyone and ((HUGS)) to those that need them! This is a big week for betas and I can't believe the couple of you who have had a long wait (even overnight!) after the blood draw. Thanks for all your support!!
QOTD: definitely our honeymoon, stayed in Vegas for a few days, then New Orleans, then Antigua with a private plunge pool villa. It was just amazing!

Sept 2015: Hysteroscopy: mass turned out to be scar tissue(?), all removed. Recheck saline sonogram 2 weeks later showed "stuff" still in uterus (more scar tissue? remnants from surgery? Will see if clears with a period). Recheck saline sonogram 1 week later: all clear! Start Lupron and Estrace. Follow up u/s 2 weeks later: uterine lining only 5mm, add in patches. Follow up u/s 1 week later: uterine lining = 4.3mm (argh!), stop estrace and patches and start estradiol injections twice/week. Follow up u/s 2 weeks later: uterine lining = 5mm Instructed to keep on estradiol injections and recheck in 5 days = lining still at 5mm. Need to make a decision - go for it? Or toss in the towel w/ this cycle and start all over again next year with a new protocol. Decided to go for it as we had 17 frosties; what have we got to lose??
Beta # 1 was 249 praying for the numbers to double at my appointment tomorrow.

Well, add me to the BFN list. I am obviously devastated, but I sort of had a feeling it would be negative. BHCG was 0.5. So now we are saving up for an April cycle. I am going over everything we did right and what else I could have done. I guess next time I will try eating pineapple!
Good luck to all the Hopeful Hearts! Y'all have been crucial in keeping my sanity!
I never could get the badge on my siggy. What am I doing wrong?
QOTD: Ooh great question. Honeymoon in St John is hard to beat. Last summer we went to Czech Republic and Hungary and LOVED Prague and Czesky Krumlov!
Good Morning, Hearts! I am siting here deep breathing, as my anxiety is through the rough right now. I have my transfer tomorrow, and I am so nervous! I hate this feeling! I am happy I actually made it to this point, but it is so scary to think of all that lies ahead. This just has to work!!!!
QOTD: The Four Seasons in Kona (big Island) was unreal. Mauii was great but didn't hold a candle to Kona. It was true paradise.
We are starting to plan our next tropical vacation, so seeing all your answers will be very helpful for places to investigate!
Good luck everyone! It is so exciting to see so many bfp's happening!!!

QOTD: I suck at going on vacation. My DH and I just don't really do it. We live an hour away from the Jersey Shore and my family has a beach house so spend a lot of time down there when we can. I'm trying to get him to go away for the night or weekend soon just to get away from everything. Would LOVE to go to turks and caicos though. That's my dream. Hubby doesn't like flying so if anyone wants to go on a trip with me, let me know.

My 2WW is almost over!!! Beta is tomorrow and I'm so nervous, scared, excited, terrified. I just don't feel pregnant. I did POAS on Saturday (5dp5dt) and Sunday (6dp5dt) and they were both negative but I know that's really early. Sunday afternoon I started (and still continue) to get a little brown on my TP so I'm hoping that's implantation bleeding!! Hubby and I have decided that, no matter the outcome, we're not going to tell anyone anything tomorrow... so whether we're mourning or celebrating we'll have that day to ourselves. REALLY hoping it's a celebration of course. We'll be meeting potential brides & photographing an event tomorrow night so it'll either be a good distraction or we'll be in REALLY good moods. Haha!!
Best wishes to my cycle buddies having betas with me this week!!! Super excited for so many of you already and wish I could give great big hugs to some of you!!!!
QOTD: It wasn't technically a vacation, but hubby and I went on a mission trip to Haiti this past November. It was the most amazing experience of our lives and I'm so glad we got to experience it together. We want to continue to go on similar trips and would love to go back to Haiti.

Hey Hearts! I'm doing great! My last and final beta was 3394.4. We have our ultrasound this Thursday. I'm super nervous, but excited. I can't believe this is really happening. Well today is the day WOOOOOHOOOOOO! I received my final clearance yesterday afternoon to do transfer. I think they are in process of thawing my 3 rockstars as we speak, so ANY prayers/good vibes are appreciated. I have faith it will be ok.
I transfer at 1pm, and for some crazy reason, I just feel like this is it. Like I am finally getting my rainbow. I hope this feeling is right.

Hugs to those who need them. Congratulations to the BFPs and good luck to everyone whatever stage your at.
I POAS on Sunday morning and got a BFP, no question, no squinting. This was excellent news.
I had the blood drawn for my beta at 7:40am yesterday and I'm still waiting for the results! It's driving me mad. I was fine until about 2pm yesterday and then the anxiety kicked in. I just want to know the number so I can deal with it. I am assuming I will have blood drawn for 2nd Beta tomorrow, but probably won't know whether it's doubling until Thursday.
UPDATE - EDIT - Finally got my beta. It is 309! So far so good.
QOTD: We went to South Africa for my honeymoon. We stopped in Paris on the way back. Those 3 days in Paris were some of the happiest best most wonderful days I can remember. I was so happy, the weather was wonderful, it was spring. I would move there.

Big hugs hun! Stay in the moment, and take each step when it comes. I think that is how I am getting through this FET! The unknown is so scaary, especially what we went through, stay encouraged and if you need me pm or shout me out. I will be chilling after transfer in a bit

We were hoping for some frosties in the bank for the future QOTD: our best vacation was probably our honeymoon to West Virginia. Quiet, secluded, and not cell service!
I am super excited for you!!!!!!

Congrats to all the BFP's and hugs to the BFN's.

I have my ET tomorrow and I'm still going back and forth on how many to transfer. We currently have 7 to choose from as of yesterday: one is a morula, one is a 10 cell, four are 8 cells, and 1 is seven cells. I just want one baby.... But I want this to work!!
Still hanging out in the 2WW. I broke down and POAS (FRER) Sunday morning (6dp5dt) and it was positive... then again yesterday morning (FRER again) and it was darker... and then last night I tested a cheap dollar store test and that one even showed up... and again this on another FRER and it was even darker. I know that it is still early and a lot can change in a short amount of time. But I'm going to enjoy it while I can. Beta is scheduled for 7:30am on Friday. They said that they usually call within an hour or two with results.
QOTD: By far the best would have to be our honeymoon to Costa Rica. The weather was amazing the entire time we were there. The resort was so nice and clean and everyone was so friendly. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Congrats to all the BFPs and huge hugs to all who need them.
I am 7dp3dt with no hope left that this cycle will work. I feel exactly the way I feel every month right before AF shows. Beta is Monday 3/4 but I'm pretty sure AF will make an appearance before then.

Can I join? I had my egg retrieval yesterday. They got 30 eggs, waiting for the fertilization report today is making me sooo anxious!!! I am usually such a calm person, but all this IF stuff just changed me.
my beta yesterday was 24 and p4 was super low at 8,2. Will have another beta tomorrow. At the moment it's looking a lot like a c/p. I just don't know what else to do about my p4, I already get 500 mg of PIO per week and use 600 mg of utrogestan each day... Each cycle it's always the same thing. Maybe I should smear it all over my body and wrap myself in foil or something... :P
QOTD: last year we spent New Years in Thailand and it was amazing. We were on a very small island in a private villa with our own plunge pool. Absolute dream! We also loved going to Napa and touring the wine country. The landscape (and the wine) were breathtaking.

Re: ?~?~ February?s Hopeful Hearts Check-In~?~?
Increased my dosage of the Gonal F from 150 to 225- still waiting for some more significant growth and there is the fluid buildup that my dr is a little bit worried about (but not too worried) next appointment is tomorrow- feeling much better though going into the weekend I was really sore and bloated not so much anymore
hope we are getting closer to trigger!
TTC Again since 8/16/2014- 3rd Clomid Cycle with IUI starts 8/18
Good luck to the rest of the hopeful hearts! I can't believe the month is almost over! Thanks for all the support throughout the cycle, couldn't have done it without you all!

Hey hearts!!
I could really use another trip back there right about now
DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!

TTC #2 March - August 2015 = all BFNs
Prep for FET #1: Aug 2015: found "mass" in uterus on saline sonogram; scheduled a hysteroscopy to remove.
Follow up u/s 2 weeks later: uterine lining = 5mm
Instructed to keep on estradiol injections and recheck in 5 days = lining still at 5mm. Need to make a decision - go for it? Or toss in the towel w/ this cycle and start all over again next year with a new protocol. Decided to go for it as we had 17 frosties; what have we got to lose??
12/2/15 = transferred 1 perfect Grade B blast

QOTD: Last year we took a couples trip to Mexico. They had an annual parade that we were able to join, great food, awsome beaches and we rented a boat and went deep sea fishing. The last day there we decided to rent a spree and it started storming while we were on the other side of the island, what a ride back!
Make a pregnancy ticker

Hi ladies, please add me to the BFN list. I'm just very very sad about it. Plus I work at a day care center and hearing all the laughter and kids isnt helping today.
I'm having a pity party for the rest of this week and then will dust myself off and move on like I always do.
Beta #1 is Thursday. I'm going to POAS tomorrow to prepare myself. Debbie Downer here, but I'm not optimistic. I woke up at 4am with some AF-ish cramps. Gah, IF sucks butt.
Our fav vacation was our cruise to Alaska in 09. It was so much fun, peaceful, and beautiful. We made some lifelong friends on that trip too.
Good luck to all.

Hi! Liz M here; new to board last week! My husband and I ttc for only 6 months; he's going to be 45, and I'll be 38. Secondary to male factor and my AMH being 0.3 we went straight to IVF in January. I was on an antagonist protocol using Follistim 225/225.

We transferred two blasts on Sunday (5dt). We should get a call today or tomorrow as to how many will be frozen. The embryologist said she had hopes for two or more. There were still ten embryos growing on Sunday morning.
Beta is next Monday. Pretty anxious to see what will happen.
Hey Hearts! I'm doing great! My last and final beta was 3394.4. We have our ultrasound this Thursday. I'm super nervous, but excited. I can't believe this is really happening. I never imagined I could feel this happy inside. I'm growing a human. Hopefully on Thursday we will find out if its one or two. I'd love two, husband would love one. We shall see!
QOTD: We haven't gotten to travel a whole lot b/c we both went to law school and have mortgages notes for loan payments, but we did go to anguilla for our honeymoon. BEAUTIFUL there. If you go stay at VICEROY! Four star resort. It was amazing!

Hey Hopefuls,
Hugs to those who need them.

Congrats to all the BFP's and hugs to the BFN's.
QOTD favorite vacation was a trip to napa love wine and our honeymoon to Mexico.
I am 7dp3dt with no hope left that this cycle will work. I feel exactly the way I feel every month right before AF shows. Beta is Monday 3/4 but I'm pretty sure AF will make an appearance before then.
QOTD: Our honeymoon to the Excellence Resort in Playa Mujeres.
Can I join? I had my egg retrieval yesterday. They got 30 eggs, waiting for the fertilization report today is making me sooo anxious!!! I am usually such a calm person, but all this IF stuff just changed me.
Congrats to all the BFPs....it's awesome
Hi Ladies,
My hormones are doing great and my first u/s is a week from today!
QOTD: We sailed the British Virgin Islands for eight days on a private catamaran. It was the trip of a lifetime.

6dp5dt here, first beta's on Friday. I'm trying really hard not to poas, but feel like my resolve is breaking down.
QOTW: Our honeymoon in Jamaica. Honestly, it had less to do with the place and more to do with the company ;-)
Hi ladies,
my beta yesterday was 24 and p4 was super low at 8,2.
FX for your beta. I feel AFish too but have a + hpt. Hang in there. I went to excellence playa mujeres last May and it was amazing!!!! loved it and hope to try out some of the other excellence resorts sometime!
