We spend most of our day playing on the floor with her toys and when we want to go out we usually go to Walmart or the mall where we can walk around. She still isn't crawling yet and she takes long naps so we are kind of limited. I think I will try to make her a fort out of a box or something and see if she likes that. I just feel like we do the same thing every day. I'm not sure if she really cares (she seems very happy) but it's getting kind of old for me lol
You have seen my house, its like a circus loaded with toys but like you shes kind of getting bored of it. There is always going to be some kind of routine, we do the same things over and over all the time too but when Annabelle was around 10 months we joined Gymboree but I know that its kind of far from you. I take walks with her even in the cold weather and a lot of times I give her independent time where she has to play by herself. If you have an inflatable kiddie pool you can do messy fun with her. I made moon sand for Annabelle out of baby oil and flour and let her dig in and play. I also take yogurt in little cups and add food coloring to it. Then I put 3 quarter size dots of different colors on her food tray and let her push it around with a spoon. Thats all I can think of right now but Pinterest has tons of ideas.
Oh another fun one is goop... It is just cornstarch and water, it's suppose to be equal parts, but I tend to use less water. You can add food coloring too! It feels so cool when you touch it!

That's easy enough and I already have everything I need at home! How much of a mess does it make though? It sounds like a bath tub idea so I can just wash it down the drain lol

It can be a bit messy, depending on how much you make. It is such a neat texture...kids either like it or they do not like to touch it, so that also depends on how messy it can be.
When I do it at school I make a bowl of it and then scoop a spoonful onto wax paper and let the kids explore with it that way, it limits the mess!

Re: Keeping baby busy
This cold weather is tough!! What kind of things do you do now?
I can list a bunch of ideas, tunnels, balls, sensory tables are good too.
My guys are in school most of the day, so they are busy there!
