I was able to get Grants endocrinology appointment moved up to Friday. His TSH levels were high twice, which could mean he has an under active thyroid. I Google it and that can affect appetite, energy level, and weight. It can make you gain weight easier whichwould explain how he is gaining weight on so few calories.
He has a G.I. appointment next Tuesday. We are still waiting on his food allergy panel.
We decided that if his thyroid is under active and he needs medicine we are going to give it 2 weeks AFTER the medicine is suppose to take effect to see if his eating improves. If it does not we are going through with the g tube. That also assumes we don't find anything else out that may be the cause.
I am so excited to not be in limbo. I'm excited to finally have a plan. I feel like he will be eating the proper amounts by the end of March!

I'm so happy that you have a plan in place and that you guys are getting answers. FX that this is what has been bothering Grant.
