Hi ladies,
I'm new to the Preemie board and wanted to introduce myself before I started lurking for too long. My son (our first) was born at 29 weeks, 5 days. After 72 days in the NICU, he is now home and doing well. He will be 7 months old next week (5 months adjusted on March 2). From the posts I've read through, I think I should have come over here awhile ago as you seem to be a very supportive community!
I do have a quick question, do your pediatricians track your lo based on their actual age or their adjusted age? Our pedi has been tracking Finn's height/weight based on his birthdate and not on his due date. I didn't get the sense that this was normal.
Thanks! I look forward to getting to know you all better.
Cori
Re: New to Preemie board
Our pedi bases my twins' weight and height on their bday too. They started off at the bottom of the charts but as long as I see upward movement I am happy.
Their pedi bases all other milestones on their due date though.

Welcome and congratulations!
Yeah my pedi actually tracks C's weight/height on her actual birth date, not her adjusted age.
