Re: ~ **Monday Pity Party/B!tchfest** ~
DS woke up at midnight Saturday and was up until almost 2:30. I had worked so not gotten to bed yet, basically I went to bed at almost 3.
Last night I worked again so got to bed around 1, DS refused to go back to sleep after nursing at 4 AM and DH kept trying to soothe him in the bedroom. He got annoyed when I asked him to leave the room so I ended up getting up with him again and never went back to sleep.
My guided meditation got moved to the last Thurs of the month, which is DH's trivia night.
The advanced workout DVDs I need for week 13-20 of the program I started were discontinued so I can only do 12 (I bought the set MAYBE 6 months ago, it's not that old)
Apparently my daughter has issues with full moons, every time one comes around she is up all night crying, and just restless. I dread when the full moon comes back. What in the world could be causing this????? Her bedroom is pitch dark so I know the light is not bothering her. I am one exhausted mom and I know there will atleast two more night of this before it gets better.
Oh and while I am at it, it was beautiful this weekend in the 50's and now they are saying snow weds-sun, really, can't we just skip to spring, this back and forth is killing me!
Well, let's see.
Sunday and Monday nights I have sole responsibility of DS because DH gets up at 4 for work. Last night, after going to bed at 7:30, like always, DS woke up at 9, 10:30, 1:30 (for half an hour), 4 (for an hour, thanks DH's alarm), and 5:40 (for 40 minutes). I fell back asleep after 6:30 only to have DD come in to tell me she has fewer eyelashes on the bottom of her eye than she does on top.
7 is wake-up time. Then DD missed the bus so I had to throw on clothes, scrape off the car and get her to school. Now DS is laying in his bed no napping.
And to top it all off, I just found out that the one job I really wanted I'm probably not even going to be considered for because one of my letters of reference was never received, and it's now 3 weeks past the deadline.
This is from Fri
Received a call from daycare to pick up dd. Why? Pick eye.... Took her to the pedi, yep pink eye and also fluid in 1 ear. So last night was a rough. She is a awesome sleeper at night. Usually down by 730ish and sleeps through the whole night. Well last night was completely not her norm. Up & down, down & up. In crib out of crib. In bed with me, kicking me in the back, whining, etc etc. So finally at 3 am she falls asleep. And guess who can't go back to sleep (ME). I am twisting, turning, flipping, turning..... uugghh....
Then DH decides he wants to put his laundry away at 3:45am. WTF is wrong with you. He turns on the light, opening and closing drawers & closets.

So I finally go to sleep at probally 5am for the alarm to go off at 5:55am to get up. So I'am so not in a good mood today!!!

He woke up in the middle of the night just to put his laundry away? What did you say?
No. He came upstairs. His clothes was folded on the bed. And instead of putting them on the chair or floor. He decides this is the BEST time to put them away. I was at this point so tired from dealing with dd. I had to keep my mouth shut or I would had said something I might regret later......

This sucks, Steel. I'm very sensitive to smoke and can smell it miles away, so thankfully it's a non-issue in our house. I know it's very hard to quit, as DH has several family members who smoke packs a day. Has he considered all his options for quitting? Does he just stop cold-turkey and not last long?
Wow. What are her reasons?
Kellymom has a good article on it. https://kellymom.com/pregnancy/bf-preg/bfpregnancy_safety/
He used to quit cold turkey in the 8 years that he lied about it, which clearly was unsuccessful. Once he finally fessed up, we got him on meds to help him quit. I think he ran out and is afraid to admit that he needs more because he knows I'll rip him a new one for starting again. So this morning, I flat out told him just to call the doctor and get a new script. Take a day off. Whatever you gotta do. He continued to lie about it, but I know that's his problem.
I've been told that he helped the cart guy at Giant Eagle and the cart guy was smoking. I've been told that he gave someone a ride home, and that guy was smoking. I've been told that he's using a new gum/hair gel/soap/air freshener. Today, it was a new type of hand sanitizer. He's forbidden (I hate that word) to use Febreeze, because I KNOW what it's for and it makes me nauseous to see the can. The smoking is gross enough, but the lying makes me furious.

The reason she gave was uterine contractions. I've read kellymom, LLL, and several other sources, and it seems like this is more of an issue if you are at risk for PTL. Hopefully, by the time PTL is an issue, I will be done. Another misconception related to miscarriages is that bf'ing baby is stealing nutrients that new baby needs to grow. I really just want to make it to one year to avoid formula if we can. I know it's not the end of the world, but it was my goal before we found out I was pregnant.
If it makes you feel any better I was encouraged to keep nursing and the RN even recommended Adventures in Tandem Nursing to me (she said it was good even if you just nursed through pregnancy). I was 10 weeks along before DD self weaned, hopefully you'll be able to make it a little longer
Turbo Fire, I love it!
