Stupid stupid me

So my 24 hour urine test I am supposed to keep cold. Well I just messed that up. I went to pee and found it on the floor of the bathroom. So now it's obviously not cold. Now my whole day is ruined. I was going to both our parents and a birthday party today and now I am stuck at home peeing in a container all damn day... Again. Stupid stupid pee container.

I know it's important to do and wasn't sure if I was going to to even go today. But its 2am and my stupidity made my decision for me. Stupid pee container.

Sorry for my whiny vent, I probably won't care as much when I wake up for the day, but at 2am I am easily upset about it. Stupid pee

    That sucks...
    Is there any wiggle room in the definition of cold? Or are they saying refrigerated? Like we keep the AC at 63 degrees at night, most people would not say that's warm.

    What if you brought your pee container and a little cooler with some ice packs in the car? That was you could still go!

    I thought about bringing it but didn't know how to make that work with all our stops lol.
    The nice lab lady told me it was ok since I put it back in the fridge right away and kept doing it. So it is okay! I really did not want to pee in a thing all day again. I was so pissed at 2am when I saw it!
    Thanks everyone! Be careful if you have to do it! It's hard to remember to put it back in the fridge apparently

    When I did mine, the lab told me I didn't need to refrigerate it (I was worried because we had roommates at the time and I didn't think anyone would appreciate my jug of pee in the fridge) but that it needed to be kept in a cool place and suggested under the bathroom sink, since our bathroom didn't have a radiator and stayed cooler than the rest of the house. Don't beat yourself up at all! I'm sure it will be fine.
