Baby face is dry

Her skin is not cracked or peeling, it just feels rough and dry. What can I use on DD face for dry skin?

  • ive tried a bunch of different lotions but my favorites are noodle and boo baby balm, aveeno baby, baby hugo diaper ointment (which is great for chapped skin and its organic, hypoallergenic, and fragrance free so its great for sensitive skin), and also organic olive oil based nusrsing nipple cream. weird i know, but EMAB nipple cream is wonderful for mild dryness anywhere on mom or baby.

  • DS had a newborn rash and our pedi recommended aquaphor or vaseline. We did vaseline about twice a day and it was gone within 3 days. I was impressed.

Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
  • Definitely try Aquaphor, I use it every day on DD since she gets a bath every night, and she's never had dry skin in her life.  I slather DS with it after every bath too.
  • Do not use lotion. A&D is a great choice.

  • My DS has a really dry face as well and my pedi recommends cerave or cetaphil lotion.
