Does anyone have one of these? They connect to your wifi so you can
watch over your cell phones? We're looking into them but wanted some
feedback first.
we have the foscam camera for our video monitor and i love it. the picture quality is better than any video montior i've seen, and i love that i can check in on him at naptime from my work computer or phone. i highly recommend it.
I have a Philips iSight. It does video and audio, also gives notifications so you don't have to listen all the time. You can even talk back through it.
good luck,

We have two Foscam IP cams and we love them. It's awesome being able to check on the kids from anywhere. We went out for the evening and were able to see if the sitter got them in bed at the right time. The capabilities from your phone will depend on what app you use. I have a free app that offers full capability for an extra $3. I did not pay since I can tell just by looking at them if they're crying or not. If I really want to hear what they're up to I just go on the computer.
No baby yet but we have a dropcam installed and ready to go when he gets here! The quality is pretty good and we like that we can zoom in on the crib if we want. We can access it through a free app on our phones.

this exactly. I think the dropcam is upper easy to install compared to foscam too.
We considered one but DH, a huge techie, was concerned about people being able to hack in and see our kids, our house, etc. We're not both away from the house with LO there enough for it to be something we need.
We're getting the Motorola MBP36 video monitor so that we can put a camera in each of our two kids' rooms. There are some less expensive cameras that do the same thing but this one has a temperature gauge, which is very important to me during the hottest and coldest days.
you watch it all through your iphone (or ipad), it goes through your home wifi, you can view it from anywhere in the world, it has video and audio, it has amazing night vision and it can send alerts to your phone when your LO cries.
it is super secure and was dead easy to set up too, i can highly recommend it.
i use application called Best Baby Monitor from Martin Man for my iphone and ipad. I use this app every single day, it is reliable video and audio baby monitor. this app works over wifi or bluetooth and has also some additional features such as night light, talk to baby and remotely played lullabies. i can only recommend this app! and this app cost only $4!
