Drowning in water

I'm sure this has been posted about before and I have consulted Dr. Google, but I've had it up to here with this excessive thirst. It started last week and will happen out of nowhere. I will just be watching TV or at work when all of a sudden I feel like I'm dying of thirst and have to chug several tall glasses of water to get relief. I have tried lowering my carb/salt intake, I drink water consistently throughout the day, etc. It's also annoying because like I've said in previous posts, I'm a prek teacher and am having a hard enough time getting to the bathroom enough as it is! Like I said, this is more of a vent than anything else.

ETA: mobile bump makes me look like a damn fool

No, I go on Tuesday. I've considered that this could be an explanation... I guess I will have to wait and see.

This is the first thought that came to my head as well, excessive thirst can be a sign of diabetes. Although- I have GD and did not have excessive thirst, so maybe not! Good luck!

  • I asked because GD popped in my head too. I do, at times, where I have says where I am very thirsty. Whether its the cold weather or me doing a lot more, I tend to be more thirsty somedays than others.

Maybe, but I wouldn't worry about it yet. Gestation requires a lot of fluid, amniotic fluid gets replaced, muscles are moving and changing and stretching, you've got all this extra blood that needs daily filtering.. somedays I'm just super thirsty and I passed my GD test.
