LP question

I just started temping this month and am still waiting on my CH. I'm also currently reading TCOYF. I read that your LP is always the same length. Mine hasn't been. It keeps changing between 1012 and if my cycle days stay the same 29 days since November it looks like I'll have a 9 day LP. Any ideas on my changing LP?

So far mine has been between 12 and 14 days. I thought I had heard it was always the same length too, but it seems like a lot of people's range a bit.

While LP can for some women stay much the same cycle to cycle, from what I've heard and read it can actually vary by a few days. Last fall my LP was anywhere from 10-13 days. My current cycle is my first post-loss so it's likely not one to base anything on, but it's looking like I'm on 15DPO and still waiting for AF. So much for consistent LPs!
