2nd Trimester

What Gives

So far in my pregnancy I have been fine but lately I have more high and lows than ever before in my life. Twice in one day the smallest things has caused me to cry at work. I work in a professional environment and it is embarrassing to get emotional. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to shake this? Not normally the emotional type. Almost 22 weeks here...

  • Exercise has helped me, you don?t have to do a hard work out but even a walk around you building at lunch might help.

  • I feel your pain.  I've been an emotional wreck from the beginning.  I was balling my eyes out when Santa came on tv at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade...I have no sentimental attachment to the parade, Thanksgiving, or Santa...I mean, he was the shizzle...when I was 5...but I've grown up.  :)  I have days where I wake up and just know it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster of day.  I will cry for no reason.  I told DH that he could either have hormonal crying pregnant wife, or hormonal angry pregnant wife...he got the better deal.  It's usually over in a matter of minutes.

  • I do find myself tearing up a lot more over really stupid stuff. You know the worst part though? I feel completely normal and am so freaked out by this that it gives me anxiety. Even though I know 2nd tri is supposed to be easy usually. And even though we saw Micro growing perfectly with a strong hb at 12 weeks. I still can't convince myself that lack of symptoms doesn't mean something is wrong.

  • Last week I was a mess, I was depressed all the time and grumpy.  Exercise has really helped boost my mood this week and has actually given me more energy.
