My LO has a cold and is miserable. He just wants to be held and rocked. I am wondering if fresh air would make him feel better or make things worse. What do you ladies think?
My DS would be much happier outside and in the sling, even at 35 degrees and with a cold. It doesn't hurt to give it a try and don't go far so you can pop back in the house if he gets fussy.
Dress him appropriately and I think you are fine. If nothing else, the change of scenery gives you a break from constant holding/rocking and might help keep your sanity. Sick kiddo's are the worst - hang in there momma.
I would say walk - though I'm a big florida baby now and 35 is so freezing to me. If you are use to it and dress properly I would. I always take my LO's out when they are sick I think the fresh air does them good.
Re: Taking Sick Baby for a Walk WWYD?
It's 35 degrees. I live in Maine.
