Re: Do you have a job your degree is in??
HA...
Not even close.
According to potential employers, being a lawyer has nothing to do with psychology. In my past life I was a customer service rep for Blue Cross, so I think it's fair to say I used my psych degree there
And Jill, I saw your post about going back to school... I'm still considering going to nursing school to become a nurse midwife. I really wish I had done that instead of my current educational disaster!!
Yes and No.
Yes- Family Studies: I majored in this because family is EVERYTHING to me.
No- I work at a graphic design firm
?
Yup...I'm an RN, love it
Nope. Although to be fair, I don't have a job in any field right now because, well, I don't have a job. So much fun paying back loans for a degree that hasn't helped me get a job. Yay!
Well, I majored in English and I do use it every day.
I had a concentration in journalism, which i still do on a freelance basis and my work in PR certainly uses my degree.
Yes, degree in Psych, Masters in Social Work and I'm a social worker, so definitely.
Yes - I have a law degree and I'm a lawyer.
im in nursing school right now and trust me its just as much an educational disaster/trauma to your life as any other degree. its SO much work and my brain feels like its going to explode everyday. being pg doesnt help bc i cant remember anything! but it is very rewarding when u actually get to work and are able to help people..
