Doorway jumpers

A post about the excersaucers vs jumperoos had me wondering about the doorway jumpers. I never bought one and I'm actually a little terrified of them. They just look like if the top came loose somehow it would just slam down on the baby's head. I'm sure he'd have a blast in one so I want to look into buying one.

If you have one, can you tell me anything reassuring? Has the top part ever come down?

Re: Doorway jumpers

  • I have a doorway jumper, but haven't used it yet.  I have a jumperoo and I have put E in it a few times with blankets around him and a pillow for him to stand on as he's still pretty small for it.  He loves it though!

  • We have one still in the box and I'm dying to put ds in it! What age did you start the jumping?! He has great head support and puts weight on his legs...

  • I was given one from a friend, I was super excited about it and I can hardly wait to use it! I'm hoping my lil man loves it, the way he acts I think he will. I was a little worried about it too, but it seems tight on the door.. I actually slid A into it but its still way big, he'd need pillows for sure. Ill just wait until he's bigger and makes actual use of it though.
