I'm on vacation this week, so I get to watch all the guilty pleasure daytime TV I usually miss. This morning, I'm watching a Baby Story on TLC. The woman featured just had an 11lb 3 oz baby! Yikes! Indifferent

DH was also an 11 lb baby, which horrifies me. I was 4 weeks early so I was only 3 lbs, so I definitely don't want that either. Hopefully this baby falls somewhere in the middle of the two weights!

Ouch. I was terrified that DS was going to be huge based on his growth u/s at 34 weeks. My husband was over 9 lbs and I was 8.5 lbs. Thankfully I ended up with a 7 pounder, although he was a little over 2 weeks early.

This terrifies me! My husband is 6'4! I was about 8 1/2 lbs. at birth, Dh was pretty small, but he was born early. It still terrifies me to have a 10 lb. baby or something! I'm only 5'2 and more on the petite side, and the thought of a c-section terrifies me!

I have a friend whose first two were 11 lbs and both born at home hospital sent her home and things progressed to quickly to make it back. DD was almost 9 lbs but sunny side up so I hear that adds a pound or so, and nearly impossible to push out. Hoping this one doesn't get too big.

My nephew, who was taken 2 weeks early, was 10lbs! My sister had a c-section. The doctor said if she were to have waited for full term he would have been 14lbs. OUCH!

I am optimistic for an average baby. I was 8lbs and DH was pre-mature so he was about 5lbs.

I asked DH this weekend how big of a baby he was, and his SERIOUS reply was "7 lbs 25 ounces." I'm like "honey, there are only 16 ounces in a pound....so you were not 7 lbs 25 oz...."

Guess I'll be asking my MIL this weekend...

LOL Yep! Curious how large baby #4 will be. The drs even wrote "has overly large babies" as a note in my chart. Cracks me up. They have been getting bigger each time and the dr said that's pretty common for some of us. #2 broke my tailbone. Still hurts. Hopefully this one won't do much permanent damage.
