I just saw a post on pacifiers. I can't do a clicky poll on here so I was just wondering if your child loves pacifiers, sucks their thumbs or doesn't need anything at all.
DD's pacifier lasted like 5 weeks then she was done with it.She only sucks her thumb when she is going to sleep. nbsp; It's strange cuz we hardly ever see her do it! nbsp; But i am really glad that it is that way!

Livi doesn't suck on her thumb or use pacifiers. There was a brief period where she'd be comforted by a paci, but she really doesn't take them anymore.

Was a very happy pacifier baby until 4 months. Then stopped wanting it for car rides and would only take it for naps and sleeping. Then at 6 months, rejected it for sleeping too. LO would just take it out of his mouth and wave it around. So now we're at nothing at all or mommy.
I have twins - one used a paci for around 4-6 weeks within the first few months and then she was over it. She doesn't use anything now. My other baby girl refused to use a paci but has sucked her thumb since the day she was born. Now she is always sucking her thumb. I'd much rather be able to take a paci away! How do you get them off sucking their thumbs??
My oldest was a paci sucker until 20 months. My youngest is a paci sucker and I'll wean her from it at or around the same age as DD1. Thumbs you can't get rid of, but paci's you can.

DS loves his paci.
DD is almost 4 and sucks her thumb when she's tired or upset.
