I just watched The Great Sperm race on YouTube and I have a couple of thoughts...

1 it truly is a miracle that women can get pregnant. Everything from the limited amount of time each month you are ovulating to how many sperm actually make it to the egg

2 I kind of feel bad for the sperm : The video totally makes you feel for them in what they have to go through and how many of them die.

    OMG, I totally agree with both of these but especially #2! Sometimes when DH and I have sex now (I am pregnant), I can't help but think of all those poor $perms, not ever becoming anything, lol!

    Go watch it! It's a miracle that one woman ever got pregnant much less how many that actually conceive. It has basic stuff in it that we know but when you see it in human size it blows your mind.

    I'm sad for all the sperm too. Men just keep making more and more that will never amount to anything

    Is that the one with all the people in the creepy sperm suits?  I remember  watching that the week DD was conceived.  We joked that DH's sperm needed the directions in the documentary to figure it out.

    We watched it randomly because my BFF was living with us at the time and going to nursing school, so she was really interested in the whole fertility thing.

    Jonny was literally concieved the night after we watched it - haha! Aparently DH's sperm paid attention!
