One would think after 4 years of TTC we would have names nailed down by now but we do not agree on anything. Below are our compromised names where one likes and the other doesn't hate.
Boy middle name may be James although I have planted the seed of Anthony (after DH) James is his Dad but I have a crazy pscho ex that I really don't want to think about everytime I hear the mn James. MN is still pretty much up in the air, will depend on what we finally decide on for first name. DH is very much a guys guy and wants a good not common strong name. Last name is close to Cateman.
Hudson/Blake/Beckham/Xander/Gavin/Dylan
Girl middle name will most likely be Ann. My Mom, Grandma, and I all have mn Ann. We are really struggling with the girls name.
Riley/Reagan/Kennedy/Alexandra
Re: Thoughts on these names
Hudson--nice but seems kind of trendy
Blake--good name
Beckham--no.
Xander--name him Alexander and just give him the nn Xander. Everyone will assume that's his full name anyway
Gavin--I like this name
Dylan--nms, but not bad
Riley--I've never been a fan of this name
Reagan--nice
Kennedy--really nms
Alexandra--love this name
Although I will warn you that your boy list is quite common/trendy. Well, the girl list is too, but you stated you wanted an uncommon boy name and this list really isn't uncommon.
Reagan is my fave from your girl names.
I like Hudson, Blake and Beckham of the boy options and Alexandra of the girls.

I like Blake, Gavin, and Dylan.
I'm not big on the girl names but Alexandra is okay.
Riley is all boy to me.
I guess my favorites are Blake and Alexandra. Gavin is okay, as is Xander as a NN for Alexander (I don't like it so much as a standalone name). I am not wild about surname-y names unless they have some meaning to you, either as family names or some other personal significance. Reagan and Riley do not sound feminine to me.
Also, I just find it weird that several people recently have included both Reagan and Kennedy on their name lists. We named our son after a president (Lincoln) very deliberately; to me presidential names make a statement, whether or not you intend it, but maybe that's because I'm old enough to remember Reagan's presidency (not Kennedy's, I'm not that old).
I will preface by saying your names are NMS, but...
Hudson - it's okay
Blake - sounds prepster
Beckham - I'd feel weird naming after a celebrity
Xander - never liked this one
Gavin - never liked this one
Dylan - seems dated-ish
Riley - hate
Reagan - strongly dislike, not pretty at all
Kennedy - hate
Alexandra - nice
My favorite from your boy list is Xander, it is my son's name. As far as PP said about everyone thinking his "whole name" is Alexander, that is 100% false. Blake would be my second choice.
The only name I like even a little on your girl list is Alexandra.
Blake Anthony, Gavin James
Alexandra Ann
