A question for any moms

Hi my name is jenn this is my first child i will have him/her july 8.... im just a little courious onto what other moms are do for outfits when they bring the baby home. I live in Connecitcut so my weather changes quick.. Just need a little help on what to get for a out fit to bring my child home in... please help. also does anyone have a stobborn child like mine yesterday i went for my gender oultrasound and they couldnt tell me cause it wouldnt open its legs... my baby just doesnt want me to know and i really want to go shopping..

    Last time I had to bring her home in something the hospital provided. She was too small [5 lbs 11 oz] to fit into Newborn sizes.

    Being a couple different sizes of onesies or footsie pajamas.

    ETA: I wasn't done mobile!

    If you are concerned with sex neutral go for browns, beiges, red, orange, yellow and green. The hospital usually provides a basic outfit if you can't find something you like.

    DD was born in February so I had packed 2 footed pajamas. One was newborn size, the other was 0-3m, just in case. I had a preemie outfit in the bag, but took it out once I hit 38 weeks. I also had blankets to put over her once we had her in her carrier. I'm planning to do similar this time, but I'll pack a couple preemie & newborn instead

    Dd was super stubborn. I had to go twice for our a/s because she refused to turn and they couldn't get her measurements. She also kept her legs crossed and drawn up.

    yeah we did everything possible to get the baby to move i took a walk tryed to go on my side the doctor wiggled the thing on my belly nothing but she got all the measurement.. i dont really care to have im having but my sister is planning my baby shower can its kind of hard when you dont know the gender and i was want to go shopping

    Personally, I think it's easy to throw a sex neutral themed shower. Teddy Bears, ducks, lambs beige, yellow and brown. Your sister can figure something out.

    Don't worry, even if you have to wait until your baby is born you can still shop. Shop now or shop later its still fun. Are you getting an elective ultrasound to find out the sex?

    No matter what you can still shop. I would just put the money aside and shop later. It's a lot of fun no matter when you do it.

    agreed.  You can shop some now for nuetral items - I have seen plenty of super cute things out there - more than either of my previous pregnancies.  We had footie jammies or cute little sets for the babies - my daughter we did a little onsie dress, socks, and blankets on top of her.  We always have 1 girl, 1 boy outfit since we don't know the sex until delivery.

    We were team green for DD and we had a baby shower. All our baby stuff is GN, green and brown monkey stuff. And there are a lot of cute cloths in yellow, green, brown, etc.
