I would really like to punch my co-worker right now. She was in my office, looking at pictures of DD and held one up and said I don't like this one, she looks like a dead baby in a casket. The picture is now ruined for me and I'm almost in tears.

I want to post the pic here but don't have it in my email. Maybe I will snap it with my cell and upload just so you can tell me my baby doesn't look dead.
This is totally bothering me still. She doesn't have any kids, so I know she probably has no idea how that would come across to a new-ish mom.
I want to see too. I'm sure she looks very much alive and adorable!

First, it is an absolutely ADORABLE pic! So precious!! And second, I can clearly see that LO is taking a very comfy, cozy nap. The hands together are so stinkin cute!!! Your coworker can take a flying leap!
I don't see how anyone could get dead baby out of it. Baby Girl-Jesus in a manger maybe, but mostly all I notice is that 1. your baby is friggin' adorable, and 2. that blankie looks mad comfy.
That just made me spit out my soup! Thank you for making me laugh.

wow, that lady has no clue. The best man in our wedding and his wife just had a still born baby. They have pictures, and it is sooooooo hard. So, a) do not EVER joke like that and b) that picture is of an utterly adorably alive loved sleeping little girl. I would have lost it.
