Hi All --
I'm 1 week, 2 days post op after my first delivery/c-section. One thing I didn't realize with the delivery was how large my belly would still be after my son was born. I'm normally very petite, so my current belly still looks about 5 months pregnant.
I was just curious what your experiences have been with the amount of time it took for your belly to shrink down. I definitely realize I'm still very early post-op, but am just curious.
Thanks!
Kate

Since I was induced four days before I finally had a c-section, I was way puffy from all the pushed fluids & came home looking bigger & more pregnant than when I was admitted! I'm still swollen & puffy through my abdomen, but the rest of me has shrunk down pretty quickly (yay, breastfeeding!) I don't look pregnant, really, just fluffier than before. Include plenty of water & fiber in your diet to help keep any additional GI bloat down & to help flush out all the extra fluid that builds up during pregnancy & surgery.
