It has been a while

I feel bad that my post will soon become one of me saying goodbye. I became so sick with this first trimester that I could barely even work. I work at home on my computer and being on it made me sick. I teased my husband that I had an affair with the trash can because I spent more time with it than anything else. He and my family were a great support and help and our golden retriever (my parents really) stayed next to be all day every day.

I started feeling better last Thursday and then I got a sinus infection and stomach flu over the weekend. What a trip that was. I am now stomach flu free and getting rid of the sinus infection. I am still queezy every morning but a quick small snack and it seems to go away until I am hungry again.

Today, my Valentine's gift is hearing my baby's heart beat for the first time! I am so excited. Although I was so sick and was sure it would never end, I realized last night that I am 12 weeks pregnant and I am sure the rest of the time will go fast.

Congrats on making it through 1st tri! I feel your pain on the stomach flu. I came down with it myself a few nights ago, and then DS woke up in the middle of the night with it too. Nothing worse than watching your kiddo sick like that - especially when you are sick too!

Thanks all. My 1st day of my last week in the the 1st trimester is today and it has been a rough one. I just pray it settles down because I miss doing things and feeling active.
