Can anyone relate?

I originally wanted 2 kids and my husband wanted 3.  We had identical twins girls at our second go = my husband wins :-)

My twins just turned 2 and I am getting baby fever!!!!!

I am insane, right?? I wanted 2 and was blessed with 3 beautiful healthy girls.  I consider myself insanely lucky.  I want my girls to have every opportunity, which is why I did not want to keep having kids.  I want them to be alble to go to dance, gymastics, etc...  At the same time, I have 3 siblings, and it was the best experience in the world.  Siblings are a blessing and permanent lifelong frends.

Anyway, I guess I do not have a real question here.  Just wondering if anyone can relate.

PS - I am a working Mom, so day to day life is crazy already.  Again, I am insane, right?

Re: Can anyone relate?

  • I can't relate right now, however, my mom always said you'll never regret having a child. Although times can be very hard, it's not something you'd wish you hadn't done.

  • I also originally wanted two, but now that we have the twins, I feel like I need one more, at least. What does your H say? This is so personal and no one is going to tell you you're crazy!

  • I've always said that I wanted 4 kids while my husband was content with having 3. I had joked/ secretly prayed that we'd be blessed with twins. We tried for a baby for about 7-8 months and finally I got my BFP. To my shock there were two little sacs in there. I dont think you're insane. Try for one more if you both agree on it.
  • I always wanted two, a boy and a girl.  When I met my husband he had a son, then we had a son, so we had two, but my life wasn't complete without a girl so we had a third (a girl).  Then six years later God blessed us with unexpected TWINS so we now have FIVE!!!!!!!!!

I work full time at a law firm and we own a new but busy and growing restaurant and I work there on the weekends.  Life is crazy and hectic all the time but I wouldn't trade it for the world!  My daughter still dances, actually she made the competition team at her studio over the summer so we joined the "dance mom" world this year. lol  My boys still football and baseball it up.  The twins just came out adapted.  In fact, I took them to a baseball tournament when they were less than a month old.

Do what your heart tells you and what makes you and your family happy!
