RE Results= severe DOR

FSH 20.5  
ESTRADIOL 91  
TSH 1.50  
AMH <0.16 ng/mL.

Well, this is fun.  

Anyone else going through this?  What does your treatment plan look like?

    You won't find success stories on this board as the ladies here are still in the trenches of IF.  You should try posting on SAIF or PAIF.  GL!

    oh, good point.  I used to totally side eye the girls who would come to the "getting pregnant" board and ask that.  Here I am doing it myself.

    Most REs will use an estrogen priming protocol or microdose lupron flare protocole for low AMH doing IVF.

    The good news is, you're pretty young so even though they might not get a lot of eggs, hopefully the ones they get will be good quality.

    You also might want to ask about supplements - DHEA and CoQ10 specifically.

    DOR is a diagnosis no-one wants to get but there is still hope!

    Sorry about your Dx -- DOR definitely isn't fun!  But, as PP said, your age is on your side as far as potential egg quality.  There's a weekly DOR/POF check-in on this board that might offer some more info and support for you (I think one was just recently posted and you can also search to read through old ones).  Good luck!

    My situation is very different from others with DOR but there is a weekly check-in that Ceemonkey does.  I hope you come up with a good treatment plan.
    TTC #1 Since May 2011 ~ Everyone Welcome
    Me (34): DOR d/t chemo/radiation, Immature Endometrial Lining, Hypothyroidism
    DH (35): MFI d/t testicular torsion and removal, Low T, Oligospermia, Anti-Sperm Antibodies, Currently on T supplements
    Sept '11-April '13 ~  Testing, failed multiple MFI treatments, saving & TONS of praying
    January 2014 ~ IVF/ICSI & PGS ~ no response to stims ~ converted to IUI ~ BFN
    February 2014 ~ On to donor embyros ~ 5 blasts!!! 
    March 2014 ~ FET #1 ~ Transferred 2 blasts ~ BFN
    July 2014 ~ Kliman's mock cycle with endometrial function test
    Sample too small for EFT, HE slide showed immature cells
    New protocol planned, saving for another biopsy for EFT

    I'm so sorry you are having to go through this, but you are not alone! I'm 27 with an AMH of .23. I'm on several different supplements before our IVF cycle including DHEA, CoQL, L-Caratine, Vitamin D, Vitamin B and on an estrogen priming protocol.  Good luck!

    Thanks. I want to make sure my RE is recommending a good treatment plan, this helps. I bought  DHEA and CoQ10 2 days ago.

    Thanks. I want to make sure my RE is recommending a good treatment plan, this helps. I bought  DHEA and CoQ10 2 days ago. 

    Be sure to check with your RE about taking DHEA -- it's effects are counterproductive for some DOR patients and REs are very split on whether they support its use.  My former RE suggested I use it, whereas my current RE (who specializes in DOR & high FSH patients) was completely opposed to it.  Here on the boards, I've read plenty of split opinions from REs.  It may very well be perfectly fine for you to take, just be sure to do some research about it.

    I don't have anything additional to add that PP have not said. But I did want to say that I am sending you all kinds of hugs. Getting this diagnosis is VERY tough. We are here for you and would love for you to join us at the weekly check-in.

     DH: Severe MFI

     12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN 
    8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
    My ovaries are just for decoration

     12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
     2/11/13 - DEmbryo FET #1 Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts. 
     2/16/13 - First BFP of my life @ 6dp5dt! EDD 10/30/13
     3/27/13 - After beta and u/s hell, no heartbeat ever detected. D&C at 9w1d.

    6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!      
    9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
    9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
     9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d. :(

    11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
     11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13
    Beta #1 @ 13dp6dt - 522  Beta #2 @ 16dp6dt - 1373 
    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    Sorry to hear that :( I am also 30 with a DOR diagnosis AMH is like .3 (and male factor). So I feel your pain! I would definitely ask your RE what he recommends. I have been doing acupunture, DHEA, and other supplements suggested by the acupuncturist. I just had 2 IVF cycles converted to IUIs due to poor response and talked to my RE about doing an IVF cycle with an estrogen priming or Lupron flare protocol. Definitely join us on the check in too.     Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology)
    2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN
    IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN!
    IUI #2 August = BFN!
    IUI #3 September = BFN!

    IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! Transfer of 1 day 5 blast on 4/30, 4 frosties. BFP! Beta #1 9dp5dt= 179; Beta #2 11dp5dt= 442; Beta #3 4106 Stick baby stick!!
