And not because I'm some mushy love fool. My students are usually all over the place by this time of day are acting like complete angels. They are doing their work independently. Asking questions when they don't understand something. Fixing their mistakes, being quiet and not fighting. They're trying to behave because they think that I'm going to give them cupcakes, which I am, but I didn't tell them. Could I blackmail them with cupcakes everyday?
Re: I wish everyday was Valentine's Day
Blackmail, bribery, threats, reasoning, whatever. I see nothing wrong with a little treat to get your students to behave. I will have no problem using bribes, within reason, to get my daughter to behave.
