.. I actually don't like most beans. Black beans... Yuck. Pinto beans... Yuck.

I like green beans though. Why are they calld beans though? They aren't shaped like other round little beans.

I don't either. In fact, I don't like most typical barbeque/picnic foods--potato salad, corn, beans, corn bread, flavored chips, anything else with mayonnaise or mustard, and any meat with barbeque sauce. Needless to say, sometimes there is not much I'll eat at get-togethers!

However, I do like lima beans.

My UO: I don't like cheesecake.

Green beans are the freaking worst of all beans!

Green beans are my favorite too. If I had my way, I would not put beans in my chili, but DH likes them in here.

My UO: I don't understand couples that claim they don't fart in front of each other.

I could see that lasting during the honeymoon phase of a relationship, but past that, I feel like if you are not comfortable farting in front of your husband, that's weird. Plus I just don't understand how it's logistically possible. If I didn't fart in front of DH and vice versa, we'd be in separate rooms 90% of the time.

So, I will go with this: I don't believe that holidays must be celebrated on that particular day to be special or "to count" as the holiday. I used to say that about every holiday except NYE, but living abroad has made me reconsider that too. It's all flexible.

A genius, that's who. I don't even like mayo under normal circumstances, but potato salad is the business. Not just any potato salad, though. For instance in Panama, "potato salad" is potatoes, mayo, peas & carrots. Peas and carrots! It's the only part of my heritage I'm ashamed of.

Just because I can do coworker's job better than she can doesn't mean my boss should give it to me to do. I mean, WTF is she going to do with four hours of extra time each day? Am I going to get paid her four hours of wages??? Seems to be a very UO at work that the person who gets paid to do the job should actually DO the effing job!!! I'm getting a migraine again.

I will try my best here-- this is what I have got

I have a really strong preference for another DD (over a DS) should I have another baby. I know this is ridiculous and I should just be happy to be able to get pregnant, carry to term and deliver a healthy baby, but I can't help feeling this way. I sighed a thousand sighs of relief when we found out DD was a DD.

Even after two first tri miscarriages, I still feel this way.

I am terrified I won't be able to do a good job raising a son.

I saw a story this morning about a group of high school students in Indiana that is boycotting their prom and scheduling their own because the school is allowing gay people to attend. Not even go together as same-sex dates (the horror!), but just ATTEND the prom. My UO is that it made me think that I would be far more embarassed if DS was part of a bigoted group like this than if he was a petty criminal.

This is so weird to me.

I graduated HS in 2005. In Texas. In a very red part of Texas. And we had quite a few same-sex couples attend no problem.

There were about 800 seniors in my graduating class though so- I am sure there was some dissenting opinion but no one really noticed or cared what they thought.

The only exception I can find is Toy Story. Toy Story 3 makes me cry it's so moving.
