Period Question

It's probably been asked on here a zillion times but I think I am getting my first period PP. My question is, I thought when you EBF you can go months without AF coming? I am only 8 weeks PP. I don't know if this is my period or not...it's very light but I have had some cramping and breast pain (thought I had a clogged duct).  Could the light bleeding be from something else? Should I be worried that I am getting a period so early if in fact this is AF? I did have an emergency C-section but have been done PP bleeding for about 3 weeks.

    Sounds like AF. I had my first PP period at about 8w, and about every month after that. Some ladies don't get a period while BF, but some do. Also, your period can be pretty funky for a while PP (really heavy, really light, really irregular, etc), so I wouldn't worry about it.

    Everyone women is so different. I'm 9 months pp and haven't had a period yet.

    One of my girlfriends got her first PP period around 8 weeks. 

    I didn't get mine until 8 or 9 months.

    Everyone's different.
